2 months agoBased on my experience, I'd give several negative stars mainly because of my interaction with the GM by the name of Cody. Very unprofessional. Does not deal in facts and when pointed out he kept stating its opinion. Just had a heat pump installed a month and a half or so ago and I've been trying to get a hold of him ever since to resolve the issue only to be met with dismissal and escalation tactics. Would not recommend this company just based on this experience. -

FAQ
Does Alpine Heating offer free estimates for heat pump installations?
We provide custom quotes based on your home's specific needs, such as space constraints and equipment sizing. Factors like system type, labor for tight installations, and any required inspections determine the final pricing. Contact us for a no-obligation assessment to discuss costs transparently.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC services?
Alpine Heating is fully licensed, insured, and equipped to handle HVAC work in Eugene, OR, including refrigerant management. Our team completes urgent inspections for insurance renewals and routine servicing to ensure compliance and safety. Homeowners can request proof of credentials before any job starts.
Can Alpine Heating install heat pumps in tight spaces and service Daikin mini-splits?
We specialize in installing heat pumps even in confined areas, completing the process including inspection efficiently. Our technicians service Daikin mini-split units, performing maintenance like cleaning and checks for optimal performance. We also handle duct cleaning and furnace installations with proper ductwork.
What is your typical timeline for HVAC repairs and installations?
Alpine Heating responds quickly to urgent heating failures, often scheduling same-day or next-day for repairs. Installations for new systems like ductless heat pumps follow a streamlined process from assessment to completion, with clear arrival windows communicated upfront. Expect thorough testing post-install to verify operation before we leave.
Does Alpine Heating provide rebate guidance and help with tax credits for new systems?
We guide customers through local EWEB rebates and federal tax credits to offset costs for replacements when parts for old units are unavailable. This includes identifying eligible ductless heat pump options during the quoting process. Understanding these incentives helps you make cost-effective decisions for energy-efficient upgrades.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting HVAC repairs or installations myself?
Professional installation ensures proper sizing, refrigerant handling, and airflow testing, which DIY efforts often overlook and can lead to inefficiency or breakdowns. We use specialized tools for tight-space work and system verification that homeowners lack, preventing safety risks like electrical issues or improper venting. Routine servicing by our team catches problems early, extending equipment life compared to unmaintained DIY fixes.
