11 years agoI've had a cleaning service for 10 years. My regular cleaner moved a week before I called ECS. Maria failed to clean the kitchen counters and the bathrooms each time. Each time I told her there were issues and each time she said she'd do better next time. She broke a $60 appliance in my kitchen yesterday and said she would replace it. My husband didn't leave me a checkbook that day because she had said she liked being paid for a month at a time. When she left, I took a look around and saw that there was dirt on my nightstand and dresser, toothpaste still in the sinks and on the faucets in the 3 bathrooms, the toilets weren't clean, my kitchen counters hadn't been wiped down, my microwave wasn't cleaned, lamps and ceiling fans were still dusty, there was dirt on the bathroom counters and on the tile floor in the kitchen, laundry room, and hallway, the appliances hadn't been wiped down...so I texted her within 24 hours to let her know it wasn't satisfactory. She told me to find a new housekeeper! Ok, fine, if she didn't want to fix it and be paid, she still needed to replace my appliance. Nope. She is completely unprofessional. -

13 years agoThe "deep" cleaning was fine in some parts of the house and other parts were totally missed. One bedroom was left with a heavy layer of dust all over the furniture. That was their deep cleaning. In the two next times rooms were missed entirely. And dusting is NOT their specialty. I think there may be a vision issue. Overall the cleaning was fair at best. The worst and most disturbing offense is that Maria was trying to take advantage of my elderly parents! I have waited several months to post this review because I was so angry but have calmed down now and will just state what happened. My elder parents live with me and were home during the days of cleaning. Maria, tried numerous times to sell my mother various products, for example wrinkle cream, special carpet cleaners, cooking services etc. One time she tried a super secret carpet cleaner on some of my carpet spots. The cleaner did not work, the spots were back within a few days. But the next time she charged my mother an extra $20 for the service that did not even work! Maria kept saying that my mother was pleased with her work, but my mother was intimidated by her. I am sorry to say I would not recommend them to anyone. -
