5 months agoBought a lot of flooring from them 2 years ago. The whole experience was great and the floor is still wonderful. Recently had an issue UNDER THE FLOOR. Not their fault, but they still came out helped diagnose the issue and put down new floor boards where needed. Would definitely continue to use Page's again. -

7 months agoThe floor salesman that was assigned to assist me came down the back hallway with a stern look on his face and was very unfriendly throughout my 10 minute conversation with him. I told him what I was looking for and he kept directing me to slats of LVP that was on the floor, which was not what I wanted. I asked about the mm and waterproof levels of their LVP and he showed me the labels on some over by the wall, stating they are waterproof. He then asked me "why do you want to put LVP in a laundry room, because if the hot water heater were to explode, it would be disastrous. I would suggest you just put down an area rug". That is when I turned around and walked out. He obviously did not want my business, by his attitude. It, is not up to a salesperson to make those kinds of suggestions and to sabotage a potential sale. I called a short time later and asked for the manager and he stated he had stepped out. I found I was speaking to the salesperson himself, and explained to him that it was not up to him to offer his opinions on what I wanted to accomplish, and he said, "I was just trying to help you". Helping me would have been trying to do all you could, to make the sale, and to make a potential customer comfortable in the transaction. I know this will be glossed over by management, and that is ok, I just wanted the public to know that it is not ok to have a salesperson make unwarranted suggestions when that person has most likely already been to many other businesses and is stressed with the process. The manager or owner tried to call me later that afternoon, but I was beyond consoling at that point. My 7 year old grandson even asked "why was that man being so mean to you?"
