We have done renovations on previous homes, so we were a bit nervous going into this reno. We knew our kitchen reno was a Big Job. It involved taking our kitchen down to the studs, removing a closet, relocating half of the basement stairs, and removing and rebuilding the upper part of our main staircase. It required extensive engineering- with giant steel beams- and basically rebuilt the center of our almost 100 year old house. Throughout the entire process, Kitchen Kraft was amazing. We felt listened to in the design process and Dustin worked with us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted without any pressure and made excellent suggestions to improve the design but still stay in budget. The crew that did the work was punctual, very highly skilled and knowledgeable. The cost was very reasonable considering the excellent service/support and the high quality result. We could not be happier with our new kitchen and it was a refreshing pleasure to work with such a professional and fantastic team. Dustin, Josh, Rob, Justin and the rest of the crew- we appreciate you so much. Thank you!

We had water damage from our sink and dishwasher. This led us to purchasing kitchen Kraft cabinets. While we do like our cabinets the issue came with the boxing of their product and how it was cared for from their factory to our home. To start, they poorly package the drawers where it led to broken drawers before shipped because you can see where someone put the broken piece outside of all the protected wrapping of the that particular cabinet so it was right there when you open the box. The paint was smudged off every corner and some doors. That right there should have been a sign. Next, the paint felt damp and can see run marks down the inside of cabinets, they tighten the screws to the hinges to the doors so tight it cracked the wood of several cabinets. We ended up having to reorder many cabinets over. This pushed back our kitchen all over aging causing more distress on us in the home. This also pushes back your counter top another 5 weeks. It's not like we had a full functioning kitchen when flooring and some cabinets needed to go due to prevent mold. This was a ripple effect. We ordered Jan 17th and we just got our cabinets put in full a week ago and it's April 19th. During this time we could not put in our floors due to putting in the cabinets first. We are using a professional contractor who has done kitchens for 30 years. We trusted his process and what works best. That meant no floors before cabinets. We have been walking on cardboard waiting for these cabinets. We finally get our second shipment of replacements and they gave us too short of a door, the wrong drawer and it came broken in the box with no protection to it. I snapped pictures, it's still in the box broken not even taken out of the tape it was in. This has been beyond frustrating that has led to ripple effects for our family with things we have going on like our seniors graduation, moving our schedules around multiple times, more money with the contractor. I forgot to add the holes for the shelves were not even so instead of waiting again weeks, we had to figure a way to fix that with the clips they give for the shelves for your cabinets. Paying good money for good quality with shitty work who can't package correctly, who puts in cabinets wet in the box, who tightens screws too tight. We will never use this company again. They need to rework how they work in their factory for building and putting together. We understand shipping is out of their control for the cabinets that came destroyed but the rest is on them. I would like to say Lowe's is who we used as the middle man and they were excellent in helping us. They took time to witness this mess and promised to fix it. I carried this mess in to show how it came in plus pictures. They all agreed. Kitchen Kraft is in many stores for kitchen rebuilding, I would definitely ask about any company and the company's work quality, packaging, and shipped. It's been a stressful situation. We at least thank Lowe's for trying to fix it all and be on top of it. This week I get floors. Counter tops still takes time. 2 stars for at least we liked the cabinets, the rest is poor quality in their factory area. Example of a little of what I'm talking about..

We used Kitchen Kraft for our primary bathroom remodel and couldn't be more pleased with the results! From our initial consultation to the finishing touches, everyone we dealt with was professional, responsive, and so easy to work with. Rob Brown was our project manager and kept things seamless and on track with weekly updates showing us that they were on top of every detail. I was so excited to receive his emails each week with their progress along with schedule for the up coming next week. Even when the project was finished there were just a couple of details that needed tweaked or adjusted to my desired liking and Rob went above and beyond to make sure that those details got fixed in a timely manner for me. I cannot say enough good things about the Kitchen Kraft Team, their expertise, craft and attention to detail. On top of their perfectionism, they work at such a rapid speed. I was so impressed with how fast they turned around the remodel. Kitchen Kraft is hands down the best professional level remodeling you'll find in Columbus, OH!

Kitchen Kraft did a great job completely renovating our kitchen and mud room and finishing our basement. My wife and I are very satisfied with the finished product. They worked with us every step of the way from the design and planning all the way to finishing up construction. Rob was our rep from the company and he was helpful and willing to go the extra mile to take care of the little things for us. Also, we quoted out a number of companies before we went with Kitchen Kraft and they were price competitive and well worth what we paid.

FAQ

How does Saunders Dynamic Remodeling determine pricing for kitchen and bathroom remodels?

We provide custom quotes based on your specific project scope, materials selected, and the complexity of the work involved. Kitchen remodels that go down to the studs, for example, involve different costs than surface-level updates. We recommend scheduling a consultation to discuss your vision and budget so we can deliver an accurate estimate tailored to your home's needs.

Are you licensed and insured?

Saunders Dynamic Remodeling maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to perform kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, and water damage repairs in the Columbus area. This protects both you and our team throughout the project. We're happy to provide documentation of our credentials during your initial consultation.

Does Saunders Dynamic Remodeling handle water damage repairs in addition to kitchen and bath remodels?

Yes, we specialize in water damage repairs alongside our kitchen and bathroom remodeling services. Whether damage stems from a sink, dishwasher, or other sources, we assess the affected areas, address structural concerns, and integrate repairs into your overall renovation plan. This comprehensive approach ensures the problem is fully resolved before moving forward with design and finishing work.

How long does a typical kitchen or bathroom renovation take?

Saunders Dynamic Remodeling's timeline depends on project scope. Kitchen remodels that involve gutting to the studs typically take 6 to 12 weeks once design and permits are finalized, while bathroom renovations generally range from a few weeks for refreshes to 6 to 8 weeks for full remodels. We'll provide a detailed timeline during the planning phase so you know what to expect from demolition through final installation.

What does Saunders Dynamic Remodeling do with debris and waste during a renovation?

We manage all demolition debris and waste removal as part of our standard process, keeping your home as clean as possible throughout the project. Our hands-on approach includes organizing work zones and protecting areas of your home that aren't being renovated. We'll discuss dust control and cleanup expectations during our initial planning meeting so you're prepared for the work ahead.

Why should I hire a professional remodeler instead of attempting a kitchen or bathroom renovation myself?

Professional remodelers bring expertise in building codes, permits, structural considerations, and proper installation techniques that DIY work often lacks. Major renovations involving plumbing, electrical, and load-bearing walls require licensed professionals to ensure safety and compliance. We handle the complex coordination of materials, subcontractors, and inspections, allowing you to avoid costly mistakes and achieve a finished product that's built to last.
