3 weeks agoI had such a great experience working with Classico. I'll admit, I was a little apprehensive about going with a more boutique tile showroom, wondering if pricing or selection might be limiting. It turned out to be the complete opposite. The selection was extensive, and the consultation with Jan, the owner, was incredibly thorough. He brought decades of experience to the table and went above and beyond to guide me through material options and design choices. He was patient, generous with his knowledge, and truly took the time to educate me throughout the process. Jan also worked tirelessly to help me achieve the look I wanted while being mindful of budget - finding the best possible pricing without compromising on quality or style. I not only ended up with absolutely beautiful floors, but also walked away with a much deeper understanding of materials and even some great local partner recommendations. I can't recommend Classico enough. -

2 months agoI recently bought tile from this company for my kitchen. I had an amazing experience during this process with Jan, the Owner. I love my new kitchen floor. I think it's kinda cool business is by appointment only, that worked for me. Jan was liberal with giving me recommendations and I was grateful for that. The ordering process and delivery went smoothly. I felt he wanted the best for my job. Also, he was able to recommend some installers one of whom I used; he did an excellent job. The tile in this shop is all beautiful. I highly recommend doing business with this company. -

FAQ
How does Classico Tile & Marble determine pricing for tile and marble installations?
We assess pricing based on the specific materials selected, such as ceramic tile, porcelain, marble, granite, or quartz slabs, along with the project's size, complexity, and any custom design elements like patterns or antique floor repairs. Labor for installation, countertop fabrication, or specialty work like limestone fireplaces and hoods is factored in after an on-site evaluation. Homeowners receive a detailed quote outlining these components to ensure transparency before work begins.
Do you offer free estimates for flooring projects?
We provide custom quotes after examining your project space and discussing material options in our showroom. This hands-on approach allows us to accurately account for factors like tile type, layout patterns, and surface preparation needs. Contact us to schedule an appointment for this personalized assessment.
Is Classico Tile & Marble licensed and insured for tile installation and countertop work?
We operate as a licensed corporation established in 1992, with Mr. Jan Cahill as owner, handling distribution and design of ceramic tile, marble, and stone. Our A+ BBB rating reflects our long-standing commitment to professional standards in Central Ohio. Insurance coverage supports our full-service installations from kitchens and baths to custom fireplaces.
What is your typical timeline and scheduling process for projects?
Classico Tile & Marble coordinates timelines based on material availability, such as special order tiles that arrive on schedule, and the scope of work from design to full installation. We schedule by appointment to visit your site and showroom, ensuring clear arrival windows and responsive communication throughout. Most projects wrap up efficiently due to our hands-on expertise in handling everything in-house.
Does Classico Tile & Marble handle cleanup and debris removal after tile or marble jobs?
We manage all waste and debris from our installations, leaving your home clean and ready for immediate use in areas like kitchens, baths, and foyers. Our meticulous process includes proper disposal of excess materials such as cut tile, stone slabs, or packaging from special orders. This ensures a seamless transition once the flooring, countertops, or custom features are complete.
Why is hiring you better than doing tile or stone installation as a DIY project?
Our expertise ensures precise selection and installation of materials like glass tile, terra cotta, decorative mosaics, or antique floor repairs, avoiding common pitfalls such as improper subfloor prep or mismatched patterns. We offer technical support for complex tasks including custom fireplaces, hoods, and slab fabrication, which require specialized tools and knowledge to prevent damage or safety issues. Professional results come from our eye for detail in design and execution, delivering durable outcomes without the risks of amateur errors.
