2 years agoThis was probably the best contractor experience I've ever had!! Before any paint was on cen put on Just in saved us so much time and money by mentioning the color consultant we hired do not choose colors with enough contrast. He explained outside when the sun is on your home everything changes and it did. He got us put together then sprayed our whole house in two days. He was so pleasant and did fantastic work!!! I highly recommend you go with the Power Pros. -

2 years agoI decided to use Power Pro Painting after reading all the good reviews and talking to Justin- the owner on the phone. He was extremely knowledgeable on what type of work and paint needed to be used on my aging wood deck. He was prompt and did a fantastic job. I will be sure to use him for my next wood treatment on my deck and any future paint projects. Thanks again, Justin! -

2 years agoI hired Power Pro to paint a number of rooms in my house a couple of years ago and had a good experience. The work looked nice, the price was fair, and everything was done on the timeline I had been told. When I hired Power Pro to re-stain my front door recently, I was hopeful for a similar experience. Unfortunately, that did not come to pass. The work took roughly twice as long as initially stated, I was routinely told that work would start at a certain time only for no one to show up until an hour or more later than the stated time, and communication of any changes to the schedule or process were severely lacking and usually only came after I would reach out. On the afternoon of the second day of the project (the day I had originally been told that the work would be completed), it became clear that the door was going to require more time. I was frustrated with the changed timeline, but willing to let it slide given that the work still needed to be done. It was at this point that Justin stood in my (half finished) doorway and repeatedly asked, "Are we good?" I twice said yes, but he would not let the issue drop, which eventually led to an argument that featured excuse-making for the delay and baseless accusations of mistreatment by me, the client. The door did look nice once it was finally completed, but at that point I made the unfortunate mistake of overpaying the balance due for the work. While this error was clearly and obviously my own, I did not discover it until the check was cashed. I reached out and was told a story of an honest mistake, which I found hard to believe given the existing track record of unreliability and the fact that I surely would have heard from them had I underpaid instead of overpaid. This story was also accompanied by further attempts to spin the story into one where I had been abusive and unfair and he, the underperforming contractor, was some sort of victim. Overall, working with Power Pro this second time was quite an unpleasant experience. It would be unfair of me not again point out that the work does look nice and that the price seemed reasonable, but every other aspect of the process became a headache. For that reason, I do not recommend Power Pro. -

4 years agoA double no-show from Justin. I have a large painting project for a house that I am buying. I'm from out of state and had one day when I was in town to schedule on-site estimates. I scheduled our appointment 3 weeks out. Justin was boastful on the phone that they are the best at the type of work I had in mind. Morning of the appointment Justin did not show up. I called him to remind him on the appointment and he said he would be there in the afternoon. He did not show up again. Complete waste of time and lack in professionalism. -

4 years agoTook me 2 years for a company to give me a quote. Justin came out and gave me a quote at once! Very happy and pleased with the work. His crew were all very professional!

FAQ
Does Power Pro Painting offer free estimates for painting jobs?
We provide detailed estimates at no charge to help you understand the full scope and cost of your interior or exterior painting project. During the estimate, we assess your needs and point out practical ways to save time and money, such as optimizing prep work or material choices. This upfront approach ensures you get a reasonable price tailored to your home or business in Cleveland, OH.
Are you licensed and insured for painting and handyman work?
Power Pro Painting carries the necessary licensing and insurance to protect your property during handyman and painting services. Our professional crew follows industry standards for safe execution of jobs like power washing and deck staining. Homeowners can verify our credentials directly through local authorities or by checking our service history on Voolt Pro.
Does Power Pro Painting handle power washing and deck staining along with painting?
We manage interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses, along with power washing to clean surfaces and deck staining for lasting protection. Our services also cover handyman tasks shown in photos, such as sealing cracks in asphalt driveways and sanding or spray painting doors. These combined offerings allow for efficient handling of multiple needs in one project.
What should I expect for arrival times and scheduling with your crew?
Power Pro Painting starts work early as promised and sticks to the agreed schedule for your painting or power washing job. Our team arrives on the promised start date, moves personal belongings out of the way if needed, and completes the work efficiently without delays. This approach minimizes disruption, especially for open-concept spaces or exterior projects.
How does Power Pro Painting handle cleanup after exterior house painting?
We clear the work area by moving items back and properly disposing of all debris from painting, power washing, or staining tasks. Surfaces are left clean, with no paint overspray or waste left behind on your property in Cleveland, OH. This thorough process ensures your home or business returns to normal use right away.
Why is hiring you for painting better than doing it as a DIY project?
Our professional methodology uses proper prep like surface cleaning and sealing, which prevents issues like peeling that often occur with DIY attempts. We apply techniques such as spray painting for even coverage on doors and exteriors, saving significant time compared to manual methods homeowners might use. This expert handling also spots efficiencies from the start, reducing overall costs and ensuring durable results without the risks of ladders or equipment mishandling.
