I'm very disappointed in my treatment by this company. I called two weeks before the heat wave hit because I was having issues with my AC and I wanted to get it addressed before it got hot well now it's hot and he's telling me he's too busy hose it off with the water hose and giving me all these to do items to fix my own unit. Last year I had a furnace installed by him Jerry and he was very nice I spent $6,000 getting that done and he also included in that contract 2-year service of the AC and he put some freon in it. Now I'm calling him to actually fulfill that agreement and he's blowing me off and his text messages to me have been rude and curt. Then he tells me that he has family issues and he can't work all day well I'm a nurse I know what it means to work long hours I also know what it means to have family issues I have a cancer patient living in my home and my brother was found dead in this heat so we all have issues but when you're in the service industry you serve!

Called Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning when A/C wasn't cooling and ended up with a bill for $411.50 to change the capacitor that took less than 30 minutes and cost around $23.55 to buy. I expected to pay extra for a Saturday service call($106) but to pay an additional $305 for the work described what a disaster. What's the price break down for the service: $300/hr and 500% markup for parts? As a mom in a pinch I WON'T be calling Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning again and will be sure NOT to recommend.

I'm very happy with them. I got a 2-year contract. I would absolutely use them in the future. The best thing about them is when they say they're going to be here at 9:00, they are here at 9:00. They are very prompt.

FAQ

How does Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning determine pricing for HVAC work?

We provide detailed written estimates that break down all costs before any work begins. Our quotes include labor, parts with model numbers, permits if applicable, and any additional materials needed for your specific job. This transparency helps you understand exactly what you're paying for and allows you to compare our proposal with other contractors. We're happy to walk you through each line item and answer questions about how we arrived at our pricing.

Are you licensed, insured, and certified to perform HVAC work?

Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning maintains all required licensing, bonding, and insurance to protect both your home and our team. We carry workers' compensation and general liability coverage, and our technicians hold EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerant, which is required nationwide. You can request our license number and proof of insurance before we begin any work, and we're familiar with all local permitting requirements and inspection standards in the Cleveland area.

What types of HVAC systems does Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning install and repair?

We handle both residential and commercial HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance across all major system types. Whether you need a heat pump, furnace, air conditioning system, or ductless solution, our team has the expertise to recommend the right equipment for your home's specific needs. We also conduct thorough evaluations of your existing ductwork, airflow, and system performance to ensure any new installation or repair meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

What should I expect regarding arrival time and scheduling?

Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning respects your time and provides clear scheduling windows so you know when to expect us. Our team arrives when promised, minimizing disruption to your day. We'll communicate the expected timeline from your initial call through installation or repair completion, and we'll keep you informed if any changes occur. On service day, we protect your home with drop cloths and ensure thorough cleanup before we leave.

Does Cyngier Heating & Air Conditioning perform load calculations and ductwork inspections?

Yes, we conduct comprehensive evaluations that include Manual J load calculations to properly size equipment for your home's square footage, insulation, sun exposure, and room-by-room needs. We also inspect your ductwork for leaks, restrictions, poor transitions, and inadequate return air paths, and we measure static pressure to ensure optimal airflow. If duct modifications are needed to meet manufacturer specifications, we'll propose those solutions and explain how they improve your system's efficiency and comfort.

What warranties and service agreements do you offer after installation?

We provide information about manufacturer limited warranties on parts and equipment, and we offer extended service plans to help protect your investment long-term. Our maintenance agreements include seasonal tune-ups where we inspect refrigerant levels, electrical connections, airflow, and condensate drains to catch issues early. We'll walk you through warranty registration, explain coverage terms and any exclusions, and help you understand how to file claims if needed. Regular maintenance helps preserve efficiency and can extend your system's lifespan.
