11 years agoI received service on the same day I called. Doug and Bryan were both very polite courteous and hard working. I was given an estimate and very pleased with the outcome of the work. -

11 years agoThe exterior outlet was tested and replaced; the service representative asked me what we used the outlet for, and he upgraded the replacement in amps to handle it properly. Unfortunately this company charges by the hour and the procedure took less than 15 minutes total. I had no further electrical work, but I did ask him to check my GFCI outlets to ensure that they met code, which he did. The gentleman was very polite and professional. -

FAQ
Does Bakken Electric provide free estimates for electrical work?
We provide estimates upfront before starting any job to give you a clear idea of costs based on the scope of wiring installations, repairs, or maintenance needed. Pricing depends on factors like project size, components required, and time involved, ensuring transparency without hidden fees. This approach helps homeowners plan effectively for their electrical needs.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical services?
Bakken Electric holds all necessary licensing and insurance to perform safe electrical work on homes and businesses. Our team follows industry standards during inspections, circuit connections, and troubleshooting to protect your property. Homeowners can verify credentials through state records for added confidence.
Does Bakken Electric handle whole-home generator installations?
We manage delivery and installation of whole-home generators like Generac systems, along with related wiring and testing. Our process includes inspecting site compatibility, connecting circuits properly, and ensuring reliable backup power. This service keeps your home powered during outages without complications.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for service calls?
We aim for same-day service when possible and arrive on time within agreed windows to minimize disruption. Jobs often finish faster than estimated, as our team prepares efficiently for tasks like outlet replacements or repairs. Clear scheduling upfront lets you plan your day around our visit.
Does Bakken Electric clean up after electrical jobs and handle debris?
We leave your home or business cleaner than we found it by removing all debris, old wiring, and materials from the site. Our technicians test and tidy components like replaced outlets to ensure everything functions smoothly post-job. This standard practice respects your space during and after service.
Why is it safer to hire you for electrical repairs instead of doing DIY?
Professional electricians use specialized tools and knowledge to inspect circuits, identify hazards like overloads, and connect systems to code, avoiding risks of shocks or fires common in DIY attempts. We upgrade components, such as increasing outlet amps for specific uses, for long-term safety and efficiency. Homeowners prevent costly damage by relying on trained pros for troubleshooting and maintenance.
