9 months agoThere's a Review by DG from a year ago and I just had the same experience when I called, tried getting a quote and the guy refused to help me or give suggestions. Very strange. -

2 years agoAre the positive reviews on here for this place made by the business owner? I just tried calling him for a quote, and before I could complete my sentence, he kept interrupting me and saying the same irrelevant phrase over again, then he disconnected the phone call. Wow, how unprofessional and suspicious to supposedly run a legitimate business like that. -

3 years agoI love these guys! Always willing to go out of there way for their customers, quality products- many of which you can't find elsewhere, and prices that aren't so inflated that contractors can't make a profit (unlike they big box stores). Highly recommend!

FAQ
How does Hank's Specialties, Inc. determine pricing for carpet and flooring projects?
We base pricing on market rates for quality tools, adhesives, and specialty flooring sundries that keep projects profitable. Quotes cover the materials and installation needed for your specific job, including items not found at typical suppliers. Contact us to discuss your project details for a custom quote.
Are you licensed and insured for carpet and flooring work?
Hank's Specialties, Inc. maintains proper licensing and insurance to protect homeowners and our team during installations. We meet professional standards for carpet contracting and flooring services in the Bismarck area. Always request proof before starting any project to ensure coverage.
Does Hank's Specialties, Inc. handle carpet tile installation and precise cutting for commercial spaces?
We provide carpet contracting and flooring services, including installation of carpet tiles in large commercial spaces. Our team handles precise cutting and laying of flooring as shown in our installation photos from Saint Paul, MN. This ensures a professional fit for high-traffic areas like those requiring stair nose selections.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for flooring installations?
We schedule installations based on project size, material availability, and your preferred dates, aiming for efficient completion. Expect our team to arrive within agreed windows, coordinating ahead to minimize disruptions. Factors like space complexity can affect timelines, so we discuss this during quoting.
How does Hank's Specialties, Inc. handle cleanup and debris after carpet or flooring jobs?
We remove old flooring, debris, and waste from the site, leaving your space clean and ready to use. Our process includes sweeping dust and disposing of materials properly after precise installations. Homeowners appreciate returning to a tidy area without extra hassle.
Why is hiring you for carpet and flooring installation safer and better than DIY?
Professional installation uses specialized tools and adhesives for secure, long-lasting results that DIY often lacks. We stock items installers need for proper subfloor prep and fitting, avoiding common errors like uneven cuts or voids. This approach prevents future issues, saving time and repair costs compared to self-attempts.
