6 days agoLayton and Brian installed four ceiling fans for me. One of those was on a 20 foot sloped ceiling. They did an excellent job on all four and went above and beyond to address an issue with the 20 foot ceiling. They were prompt, cleaned up after the installation and were very reasonable. If you want a Master Electrician, call True Vine. -

2 weeks agoI received excellent service from True Vine Contracting. Layton and his team were not only professional (on time) but very personable as well. He communicated with me the entire time from my initial contact to the date of my microwave installation and pantry light fixture replacement. Also, his services are reasonable priced. -

1 month agoA freak accident caused my cooktop to break. I ordered a new one for a good price from Queen City, but they do not install so I searched online and the first person to respond was Layton from True Vine Contracting. He came by that same day to see what needed to be done and we set up an appointment based on the delivery of the cooktop which ended up being delivered early because of the weather. I had other contractors that I was supposed to meet with, but Layton was so professional, personable, and impressed me so much that I selected him immediately. Layton was not on time this morning, he was EARLY and I was thrilled. He and Brian worked together to remove the old cooktop and replace it with the new one. What made the job extensive was that the cooktop had a downdraft that had to be installed as well and some wires that had to be replaced, which meant Brian having to go out in the cold and into the crawl space. They took their time making sure that everything was installed and hooked up correctly, then thoroughly cleaned the work area and floor, removing the old cooktop, all trash, and debris. Layton also took the time to clean the stickers and fingerprints from the cooktop. I could not be happier with the way this installation went. Both of these gentlemen were so efficient, knowlegeable, professional, kind and careful, especially given the icy conditions that remain outside. Kudos to them for a great job!! If you need any kind of electrical work done, True Vine Contracting is the way to go!! Thanks Layton and Brian!! -

FAQ
How does True Vine Electric determine pricing for electrical work?
We provide custom quotes based on the specific scope of your project. During an initial assessment, we evaluate factors like the complexity of the work, materials needed, and time required to complete the job. This approach ensures you understand exactly what you're paying for rather than receiving a generic estimate. We're happy to discuss your project details and provide a transparent quote before any work begins.
Are you licensed and insured?
True Vine Electric operates with the proper licensing and insurance required to perform electrical work safely and legally in North Carolina. This protects both you and our team during the installation and repair process. When hiring any electrician, verifying current licensing and insurance coverage is essential-it ensures the work meets code requirements and that you're covered in case of any issues.
Does True Vine Electric handle kitchen appliance installations like cooktops and ranges?
Yes, we specialize in appliance installations, including cooktops, ranges, and ventilation systems. Our team has experience working with both new appliances and custom installations in existing kitchens. We handle the electrical connections and integration to ensure your appliance operates safely and efficiently, whether you've purchased it from a retailer or brought your own unit to install.
What should I expect regarding scheduling and arrival times?
True Vine Electric prioritizes timely service and arrives prepared to complete your project efficiently. We work with you to schedule appointments that fit your availability and provide updates as the work date approaches. Our team arrives ready to work, minimizing disruption to your home while ensuring quality installation and attention to detail throughout the job.
How does True Vine Electric handle cleanup after electrical work is completed?
We take responsibility for leaving your home clean and organized after the job is finished. Our team removes debris, disposes of old fixtures or materials properly, and ensures work areas are restored to their original condition. You can expect to move back into your space without hassle-whether we've rewired a bathroom, installed new light fixtures, or completed network cabling throughout your home.
Why is professional electrical installation safer than DIY work?
Electrical work involves serious safety risks, including shock, fire, and code violations that can affect your home's insurance and resale value. Professional electricians understand local building codes, proper grounding, circuit capacity, and safe installation techniques that protect your family and property. Our hands-on approach means we assess each situation carefully, troubleshoot problems correctly, and ensure installations are done right the first time-something DIY attempts often cannot guarantee.
