  From start to finish, Bryan and his team created an absolute dream in our backyard. We've traveled to many foreign destinations and he encapsulated all of our wishes in a very challenging permit heavy area of Wake County. Bottom line is "It is unacceptable for Bryan not to love his projects and we could feel that the whole time!" He takes no shortcuts, and if anything, he will over do, safety, details, and nuance. I have not met anybody better than him in the business.

  Look no further if you've been searching for a company to redo your outdoor living area! Especially, if you want a showpiece space that will stand out from the typical work and style done by other deck builders you'll find in the Triangle. We were truly blown away by the quality of work, one-of-a-kind design tailored to our needs, and craftsmanship on our screened-in porch/deck build we completed this summer with CDG. While the visual appeal of their work speaks for itself in the pictures, structurally our build was done right and often exceeded what our town inspector checks for. The architectural and engineering plans that came before our build started gave us the peace of mind that what we have is built to last. Finally, I can't stress enough how much of a breeze Bryan, Elena, and the crew made executing a major build as touchless as possible for us; we were never left in the dark about what came next, where materials are, how best to address the inevitable change order, or what was happening on the job each week. Over the two months the CDG build crew worked at our home, we found them to be some of the friendliest, most respectful, and above all, passionate workers we've ever worked with. It's a true rarity to want to say: we were genuinely happy to welcome them each day and had no doubt trusting them on our property.

  After searching for months and having multiple contractors come out to our property for our new deck/patio project, there was just no vision and a lack of follow up. I stumbled across CDG just as I was about to give up. It was the best desicion we made. From our first meeting with Elena we knew we were in good hads. Bryan and Elena envisoined our space into something amazing, and beyond anything we could have ever dreamed up with a unique design that was as much functional as beautiful. We were kept in the loop through the entire process with morning meetings for my wife and I, with regular check ins on the project as it progressed throughout the day. A truly collaborative experience The team on the property was seamless with the crew on the ground daily. Jamie, Jeff, Gabe, Ubaldo, Sergio and others were incredibly respectful and kind with exectuing our rather large project. Having not so great experiences with contractors in the past my wife even mentioned how amazing they were and never felt uncomfortbale around the crew. We looked forward to seeing them every day, and even our dog would wait by the door to get her morning belly rub from Bryan. I admittedly am a very particular customer and its not often that a company meets or exceeds my expectations. Bryan and the whole CDG knocked it out of the park with high quality meticulous craftsmanship and customer relations. The worst part of the project was when it was finally completed and we didnt get to see them every morning. They became a part of our family for a few months. We even had a big BBQ lunch for them on their last full day. They are not the lowest cost option, but defintely the best and we can say with 100% confidence we made the right choice and would do so again in a hearbeat.

  Bryan and his crew built a patio with pergola, fire pit and lighting for us. Throughout the project Bryan was outstanding--he's very professional, respectful of our time and input, and keeps open communications while the project is going on. We ran into a couple of supply problems due to COVID, but Bryan was able to get them resolved. We've had about 4 months to enjoy our new patio, and are extremely happy with it.

  The dream of having a small pool and a spa-like backyard, where we would eventually retire, was a long time in the dreaming. We've learnt that you've got to be financially and mentally prepared for renovations, 'cause big ones will put on strain on everything. Finally we felt we were ready and contacted Bryan. Talking to Bryan about the design and the modern style we wanted was so much fun. Over the years we had collected ideas that resonated with us. Bryan used them as the basis to create a design plan, which we loved. Even though we were luckily enough to start the project 1 month before COVID hit, COVID brought all kinds of challenges. The number of rainy days in 2020 also brought the project to a standstill many times; frustrating for Bryan, his crew, and us. We lived surrounded by mountains of mud for about 9 months while concrete walls and pad were poured; heated spool was designed and dug and brought to life; fences were built; many drainage systems were designed and installed; porch ceiling was ripped down and beautiful IPE wood used instead; 2 fireplaces were hand-built; landscaping and grass added; driveway and sidewalk replaced. Over the year, Bryan's crew became like family and traditions such as 'Chick-Fil-A Fridays' sprung up, mango lassi's were enjoyed, homemade bread was shared... The guys got used to me popping out to offer my 'opinion' - well I was working at home due to COVID and I'm a designer so I couldn't help myself! :-) We miss the guys. But we are totally loving and exploring our new outdoor space that Bryan and his guys put so much time and energy into bringing it to life for us.
