1 year agoNear the close of Paul's tenure with A/ in Brunswick County, Paul conviced us we needed to replace our old system. We did so and I also paid (on his advice) him to replace some dampers on my system (on his own time), and modify my system from a 4 zone to a 2 zone. EVERY. SINGLE. SEASONAL change has required a service call to bandaid the mess made of my system. Additionally, the new system cannot keep up with above or below normal temperatures as my old system did. As I type this I have an HVAC serviceman decoding the spaghetti mess of wiring in my attic, restore the zones Paul eliminated and replace the dampers I paid Paul to replace. The ones currently in my system are originals and have never been replaced. Paul took money from me for something he did not provide. Paul and I have had this conversion and he has admitted not delivering the dampers he charged me for. He asked what he could do to make this right. I told him, "it's obvious what you should do. Show me what kind of man you are." That was a couple of years ago, and I've not heard from him since. I encourage diligence if you employ him. As with any service company, verify you received equipment he charges for. Be cautious if the pricing seems too good to be true. Paul is not allowed on my property unless he's delivering a (certified) check. -
