When we decided to start the process of ensuring the continuation of our business we talked to several PE firms and to some friends who had gone through that process. We were not real happy with what we were finding. After being acquired, most businesses loose their unique personalities and most of their staff. When we found LEAP, we found a completely different environment. We did not loose a single staff member due to the acquisition and the vast majority of our customers (to this day) are unaware that there was a change. LEAP invested resources in our company that we could not do on our own while still maintaining the local culture of our business. My only regret is that I did not find them 10 years earlier.

Selling my company to Leap was the absolute best decision I could have made for my family. I was reluctant at first, after hearing all of the horror stories from peers in the industry who sold to different companies, but I made the right decision. The financial responsibility and liabilities that come with being a business owner no longer burden me. I have been able to catapult my company to the next level with support from Leap's internal teams from Accounting, to IT, to HR, to Marketing, etc. They have even helped my leadership team catapult themselves through the Rising Lead program. If you want to learn more about your exit plan, reach out to Leap and start the conversation!

After years of seeking out companies, I made a decision that Leap Service partners would be the best choice for not only myself ,,employees and customers. It's been two years and I have heard nothing but great news from my Clients on how happy they are with the service they are receiving. Former owner Steve Samson

I cannot believe this company would acquire companies that take advantage of single females. Especially my 80 year old mother and countless others based on the reviews I've read in regards to Master Plumbers Heating and Air in Greensboro, NC. A plumber came out to repair the valves in her shower. Repairs were supposedly made to the tune of $500. Problem was not resolved. They were called back out and this time they replaced 3 valves in her shower charged her $4.400 didn't offer a refund or offer to apply the previous $500 to her account. My mother had just recently been diagnosed with cancer and is on very limited income. Master Plumbers Heating and Air will not even bother to return my call. This is disgraceful, disgusting and in my opinion falls under the definition of elder abuse. I have gotten quotes from other plumbers that stated these valves could have been replaced for under $500. Stay tuned. This is far from over and I will not go away until I get some answers. 4/22/25 Update: To Leap Partners. I appreciate your response. There is no way my mother and I would even consider to ever work with Master Plumbers Heating and Air. It's rather comical that no fewer than 10 minutes after I posted the review on your site that I received the 1 and only call ( and I have my T-Mobile phone records to prove it) from Ronnie Lee Amos. The only way I would work with him is if he refunded my mother half of the $4,900 that he price gouged her for. I had a complete HVAC unit ( compressor and air handler) replaced for $6,300. How can Master Plumbing Heat and Air justify $4,400 to replace 3 valves. My mother and I will be filing a complaint in regards to elder abuse and price gouging with the Department of Justice. Based on quite a few of the other reviews I've read on multiple sites my 80 year old mother who was diagnosed with cancer in December is not the only single female that this has happened to.

FAQ

How does Leap Partners determine pricing for HVAC installation or repair?

We assess pricing based on the scope of work, including system size, equipment type, labor needs, and any required materials or permits for your residential or commercial property. Factors like existing ductwork condition and upgrades also influence the final cost to ensure accurate budgeting. We provide detailed written estimates upfront so you understand every component before work begins.

Are you licensed and insured for HVAC services?

Leap Partners holds all necessary licensing and insurance required for HVAC work in Greensboro, NC, covering general liability, workers' compensation, and refrigerant handling certifications. This setup protects your property and our team during installations, repairs, and maintenance. We readily share proof of credentials upon request to confirm compliance with local regulations.

Does Leap Partners handle complete HVAC system design and installation for homes and businesses?

We manage full HVAC system design, installation, repairs, and maintenance for both residential and commercial properties, including equipment upgrades. Our teams, such as those from Premier Indoor Comfort Systems and Air Care Heating & Cooling, address everything from initial assessments to final setup. This comprehensive approach ensures proper sizing and performance tailored to your space.

What is your typical timeline and arrival process for HVAC jobs?

We schedule services with clear arrival windows, often completing repairs same-day and installations within a few days to a week depending on permitting and parts availability. Our technicians arrive prepared in branded service vans, like those used by our Aire Solutions and Semones Heating teams, and communicate any delays promptly. Expect a walkthrough at the end to review the work and next steps.

What cleanup and after-care does Leap Partners provide after HVAC service?

We remove all old equipment, debris, and packaging materials from your site, leaving your home or business clean and orderly after every job. Technicians use protective coverings during work to minimize mess, and we test systems post-service for optimal operation. Follow-up maintenance tips help you keep the system running efficiently long-term.

Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting HVAC repairs myself?

Professional HVAC work requires specialized tools, refrigerant handling certifications, and knowledge of building codes to avoid risks like electrical hazards, gas leaks, or voided warranties from improper fixes. Our straightforward approach ensures systems are sized correctly using load calculations, preventing common DIY issues like poor efficiency or breakdowns. This method delivers lasting comfort without the safety compromises of self-repairs.
