13 years ago. I have two dogs and a cat and they have a tendency to jump up on the furniture. So I get Dressler's Carpet & Upholstering to come. They send me an e-mail every year. The first time I called them was because my dog had come in all wet and muddy and jumped on the settee. It is microfibre and I didn't know how to clean it so I rang him and told him what I thought it was. He came round and said yes, that is exactly what it is. So he went through all of that. He was just great. He was very knowledgeable about furniture cleaning, he took the time to explain what he would do. He answered all of my questions. For example, if he deodorises it or whatever. Because the services they offer are cleaning and deodorising. I didn't ask about waterproofing, but they do offer stain protection too. There was no chemical odor in my house when he'd finished. Cleaning and deodorising is included in the same price. If you want stain protection, he told me it would be an additional $3 per foot.
