2 months agojust saw one of their vans when I was driving and thought about them. What a great company to do business with.. We built a new house, and they gave us options others didn't because it would take work on their part...the tin guy also did an amazing job!! -

4 months agoI have used the services of Empire Heating for many years for my boiler maintenance check-ups. Therefore, they were the first ones I thought of when I had several complicated concerns that happened almost at once including a sewage back up, leaking pipes, wet basement etc. Over a few days a team led by Ron worked on all the issues. They were professional, efficient, personable, empathetic and very thorough. I am grateful and pleased with their hard work and highly recommend them! -

FAQ
Does Empire Heating & Air Conditioning provide free estimates for HVAC installations?
We determine pricing based on a thorough evaluation of your home's heating and air conditioning needs, including factors like system size and any required modifications. Custom quotes are provided after an on-site assessment to ensure accuracy and transparency. This approach helps avoid surprises, as seen in cases where second opinions revealed more cost-effective solutions than initial high estimates.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Empire Heating & Air Conditioning carries the necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC contracting, including handling refrigerants safely. Our technicians follow local permitting requirements and inspections to protect your property and ensure compliance. Proof of these credentials is available upon request to give you peace of mind.
Does Empire Heating & Air Conditioning handle water heater and boiler installations along with HVAC systems?
We provide sales and installation of heating systems, including furnaces, boilers with copper piping, water heaters, and air conditioning units for homes and businesses. Our services also cover related work like plumbing and foundation tasks when part of HVAC projects. Photos of our basement installations show complete setups with indoor air handlers, ductwork, and outdoor heat pumps.
What is your typical timeline for scheduling and completing an HVAC installation?
Empire Heating & Air Conditioning schedules appointments promptly, with quick responses to calls and clear arrival windows to fit your needs. Installations, such as replacing furnaces or adding compact basement units, typically move from quote to completion efficiently based on project scope. We set expectations upfront for permitting if needed and post-install testing to verify performance.
Does Empire Heating & Air Conditioning clean up after installations and handle debris removal?
We protect your home during service by using shoe covers, masks, and drop cloths, then thoroughly clean up all debris and waste afterward. Technicians leave your space as they found it or better, removing old parts like gas valves or inefficient units. This includes proper disposal of materials from furnace replacements or heat pump setups.
Why is it safer to hire you for HVAC maintenance instead of doing it yourself?
Our planned maintenance programs and yearly tune-ups catch issues early, like gas leaks or faulty valves, preventing dangerous situations that DIY attempts can worsen. Technicians use proper tools to test airflow, refrigerant levels, and electrical components accurately, avoiding damage from incorrect handling. Indoor air quality testing and tailored solutions ensure systems run efficiently without the risks of improper repairs.
