3 months agoMy Navien Tankless Water heater had not been working for 5 days. I can't speak highly enough about Mike and Tate. I spoke with Mike and Tate at 4:30pm and Tate was at my house within 30 minutes. He solved the two issues within 20 minutes and we had hot water again. 3 months agoProfessional and efficient, these guys are the way to go. Tate saved my tail after being without heat for 2 weeks. I had multiple people look at my boiler and pipes, but they could not figure it out. Tate took a look and was able to diagnose the problem almost immediately (the pipe valve control was having issues communicating with the boiler). He, and everyone at the company really know their stuff. Highly recommend. -

3 months agoThere's a lot of kudos for Tate and I'm sure he's as wonderful as all the reviews say he is. However, Tara and Mike are also awesome and life savers! They saved me from a subpar HVAC company that left me with no heat during the deep freeze of February and no ETA to help me. I started calling other companies around 7:30am and Tara picked up right away and her and Mike called around for parts and got to my house within hours. Mike was great and got my heat working again that day. I'm now looking to switch my regular maintenance over. I look forward to working with this smaller and local company. Thanks Tara and Mike!! -

6 months agoThis is the third time Tibbets/Max Performance has saved our tails in a moment of crisis. First, our water heater control module fried in the dead of winter, which he came out same/next day to assess and had it fixed in a matter of hours after sourcing the part locally. He also charged us less than 1/3 of what another (big company) competitor quoted. Next, in the middle of a scorching summer he again, same day, came out and fixed our AC after quickly diagnosing a blown capacitor. Finally, this weekend, our water heater rusted through dumping gallons into my garage. I called Monday, he came out (again, same day squeezing me in between service calls) and diagnosed my problem. He then gave me reasonable estimates on my various replacement options. He offered to put in a new tank same day or a tankless heater on thursday. My dilemma: hot water today vs. The system I want on thursday. Well, they bent over backwards to make sure they could get all the parts and gave me the best of both, endless hot water AND the system I wanted, done by Tuesday afternoon. Thanks guys! So now it's time to pay for this glorious service and beast of a machine... we'll guess what, no emergency service fee, and a payment plan that worked for our family. He was more concerned with getting us up and running with all this cold weather on the way than he was with getting all the money up front. In summary, Max Home Performance: quality work from quality people. -

7 months agoWe chose Tate Tibbets & Max Home Performance to replace our aging AC & heating units based on the 5 star reviews and because they were local & family owned. We found their job estimate to be responsible & competitive. Steve & Tate removed the old units and replaced them in less than 3 days. Worked tirelessly and cleaned up very well. An early heating problem occurred after the installation however Tommy & Tate arrived within the hour to fix the minor issue. Overall we are very pleased and highly recommend them.
