1 month agoI dealt mostly with Mathew and Glen. Mathew came out and designed the system I needed. He did an excellent job. Glen and his crew installed the units. I was very impressed with their work. They were knowledgeable and respectful to my family members. Did an excellent job. Glen worked with me a lot to understand how these units worked. I would recommend this company. -

2 months agoI have 2 mini splits that were serviced today. The service man arrived on time. He was very professional, yet friendly. He serviced both units, inspecting and cleaning. He wore plastic over shoes when in my home and left everything immaculate when he left. He also answered all my questions and made suggestions. I am very pleased. -

2 months agoI first came in contact with Gerald Davis about 18 months ago when I was getting quotes from different resources for the Hyper heat pumps. There was no pressure from Gerald to sign a contract, he sincerely informed with the facts about the units and installation. One key point was not to make any holes through my log home. I knew once I decided to reduce my use of fossil fuel, I would sign on with Gerald. Well that happened just after the New Year, 2020; I have zoned my entire home. The team (Josh, who lead the team and the others) performed the work in the time projected by Gerald, there were no delays, when there were questions, Josh contacted me to discuss any matters and Gerald kept in contact with me. Gerald and his team were professional, proficient with the installation, knowledgeable, respective of my home by cleaning up and moving items out of my way when I returned home. Josh was creative with a solution with one challenge to connect a unit to the outside. Gerald and Josh completed a walk-thru with instructions how to optimally use this new heat source. My loft has a ceiling cassette which is perfect for that area. And they all were super friendly with my dog, Chip. Additionally, they addressed other unrelated minor repairs in my home. Overall, a positive experience. Thank you, Gerald, Josh and Team, for the exceptional customer service and technical expertise! Paula Sawyer Easton, NY -

FAQ
How does Superior CO-OP HVAC determine pricing for HVAC installations and repairs?
We assess pricing based on the specific system needs, such as equipment type, labor required, and any necessary modifications like electrical or ductwork. Custom quotes detail equipment models, labor, and materials to ensure transparency without hidden charges. Homeowners receive a clear breakdown upfront to understand the full scope before committing.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Superior CO-OP HVAC carries the required licensing and insurance to perform HVAC installations and repairs safely and legally. Our team provides proof upon request, covering general liability and workers' compensation to protect your property. This setup ensures compliance with local codes and handles any permitting needs for jobs like heat pump or furnace installs.
Does Superior CO-OP HVAC handle ductless mini-split systems and heat pump installations?
We install ductless systems like Mitsubishi mini-splits and heat pumps, including indoor wall units and outdoor condensers for homes of various sizes. Our crew also manages related tasks such as furnace setups with ductwork and water heater replacements. These services cover both residential cooling and heating needs year-round.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for HVAC service appointments?
We schedule appointments with clear arrival windows and aim to complete installations efficiently while being thorough. Technicians arrive on time, as noted in customer experiences with quick yet detailed work on heat pumps and electrical setups. Expect a walkthrough at the end to review the job and answer questions before departure.
What does Superior CO-OP HVAC do with debris and waste after an installation?
We clean up the work area thoroughly, removing all packaging, old equipment, and debris from sites like basements or exteriors after installs. This leaves your home as we found it, with drop cloths used to protect floors and surfaces during the process. Proper disposal follows local regulations for items like old units or refrigerant-containing parts.
Why is hiring you for HVAC installation safer and better than attempting a DIY project?
Our experienced technicians follow precise installation standards for refrigerant charging, electrical connections, and airflow testing to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. DIY attempts often lead to improper sizing, leaks, or code violations that reduce performance and risk safety hazards like electrical faults. We explain each step clearly, verify performance post-install, and avoid overselling unnecessary upgrades.
