3 years agoAfter having a failed experience with Cellino over a boiler issue, I had an awesome experience with the gent here at Jakes. He was down to earth, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Nipped the problem in the bud easily. Found out the pilot was out on our very old steam boiler (which I suspected). -

3 years agoJake's was incredibly reliable over the summer and ensured we always has a cool house. After such good service we requested they inspect our furnace since it had not been done in quite a few years. Mid way through their inspection they found a tiny crack in the heat exchanger. At the moment we are not in a financial situation to fix it. Additionally we plan on renovating the whole house in the coming years. Because of this, we decided not to fix the furnace at this time. After this decision the technicians removed parts from our furnace and refused to fix it the evening before it was going to be down to 19 degrees. Because of this we will never be using Jake's again. No effort was put forward to make a temporary fix or put the furnace back to the way it was found. -
