Was EXTREMELY RUDE when I had called 2 days in a row to ask for service. I am an existing customer and Matt actually hung up on me. Very poor customer service.

This business is not trustworthy & not recommended. Called on 2/15/24 for estimate, and Melissa, reportedly an owner, said they could provide estimate & asked in addition to our call that I email details. The next week, had to call again for status: "estimator" had the request, but no idea of status: Melissa said she or the estimator would call. No call back even by the following week; called again. Melissa apologized & said she'd check into it again with same someone will call promise. No call back. Called again the following week & had to leave messages & send voicemail. Got call back from Monique (new person) who scheduled a site visit for estimate with Jared for 3/5. She said she'd call as soon as possible if there was any reason the site visit did not need to happen for the estimate (another electrician did not need a site visit as the job is straight-forward). On 3/5, no one showed and no one called. After waiting for 30 minutes, called & got Monique who said Jared didn't think he needed to come & was supposed to call me. No one did. She said she "didn't know" and needed to check & call back. She called back & said she spoke with George, another owner, and they are not able even to provide an estimate as they now won't do the job & apologized for the "late" notice. When I pressed in on Monique with feedback about the lack of integrity in attempting to get an estimate since 2/15 just to be told no one at Allied would do this, she agreed and provided excuses & clarity that they just don't actually care & they do what they want and don't do what they don't want as suits them. Not a community or service focused business, & certainly not reliable or trust-worthy as they could waste your time & put you behind on your own schedule that needs integrity and willingness & focus to be of service to advance.

FAQ

How does Allied Electric Inc determine pricing for electrical services?

We assess pricing based on the scope of the project, including factors like materials, labor hours, and any necessary troubleshooting or code compliance. Free estimates are provided to give you a clear upfront cost before starting work. This approach ensures transparency and helps you plan your budget accurately for residential or commercial jobs.

Are you licensed and insured for electrical work?

Allied Electric Inc holds proper licensing through the New Mexico Construction Industries Division and maintains full insurance coverage for both residential and commercial projects. Our team follows state and national electrical codes to ensure all work meets safety standards. Homeowners can verify our credentials with the relevant state agency for added confidence.

Does Allied Electric Inc handle lighting installs and low-voltage wiring?

We manage lighting installations and low-voltage wiring for both new construction and remodeling projects. Our process starts from design through completion to ensure everything meets code requirements. This covers residential homes and commercial spaces throughout Northern New Mexico.

What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times?

We prioritize quick service with flexible scheduling, including options for earlier arrivals when possible to minimize your downtime. Electricians arrive within agreed time windows and focus on efficient work, such as completing installations in under an hour for straightforward tasks. Emergency services are available to address urgent issues promptly.

How does Allied Electric Inc handle cleanup after electrical repairs?

We leave your property clean and tidy by removing all debris, tools, and waste generated during troubleshooting, repairs, or installations. Our electricians use professional practices to restore the work area as close as possible to its original condition. This attention to detail applies to every job, from small fixes to larger projects.

Why is hiring you safer than doing electrical work as a DIY project?

Professional electricians follow strict safety protocols and ongoing training to comply with electrical codes, reducing risks like shocks, fires, or code violations that DIY attempts often cause. We use high-quality tools and materials while managing complex issues like troubleshooting on challenging nights without compromising equipment. This expertise ensures your electrical system remains safe and functional long-term.
