2 months agoExcellent service and communication. I do not live at the location where repair was completed. The repair was done when I wasn't there. I was informed by the technician every step of the way along with photos. I was extremely pleased with price, service, and communication. I will definitely use again in the future. -

FAQ
How does Reading Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning determine pricing for HVAC work?
We provide detailed written estimates that break down all costs upfront, including equipment, labor, permits, and materials. This transparency helps you understand exactly what you're paying for and prevents surprise charges when the final bill arrives. We recommend asking about any available utility rebates or manufacturer incentives that may apply to your specific system or repair.
Are you licensed and insured?
Reading Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning maintains proper licensing and insurance to protect both our team and your home during service calls. When you contact us, we're happy to provide proof of our credentials so you can verify our qualifications before work begins.
Does Reading Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning handle both heating system installation and air conditioning repairs?
We handle the full range of HVAC services, from system tune-ups and motor replacements to complete unit installations for both heating and cooling systems. Whether you need seasonal maintenance, emergency repairs, or a new system installed, our team has the expertise to diagnose problems and recommend the right solution for your home.
What should I expect during the service visit timeline?
Reading Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning schedules appointments based on your availability and the complexity of the work needed. During your initial call, we'll discuss how long the job typically takes and what to expect on service day, so you can plan accordingly and know when our technician will arrive.
How does Reading Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning leave my home after completing work?
We treat your home with respect throughout the service process. Our team cleans up after ourselves and ensures your space is left in good condition once the work is finished. If your job involves removing old equipment or significant debris, we'll discuss disposal and cleanup as part of the service agreement.
Why should I hire a professional instead of attempting HVAC repairs myself?
HVAC systems are complex and require specialized knowledge to diagnose correctly and repair safely. Improper installation or repair can reduce system efficiency, shorten equipment life, and create safety hazards like improper refrigerant handling or electrical issues. Professional technicians have the tools to measure airflow, check static pressure, verify refrigerant charge, and ensure your system operates at peak performance-something DIY work simply cannot achieve.
