2 years ago1st time using this company. Work was done just fine, as expected. Price was average, no problem. The electrician that showed up was very friendly and professional. What I wasn't expecting was to be charged for the time it took to gather tools, a phone call to the office before work actually started. oh, and there is a 2% extra fee if you want to pay with a credit card, which was undisclosed at the time of quote.... but it is mentioned on the invoice you get after the work is done and all you have is a credit card. -

FAQ
How does Frank's Electric, LLC determine pricing for electrical work?
We provide custom quotes based on the scope of your project, whether it's a quick troubleshooting call or a major service upgrade like a 200 amp panel installation. Our estimates account for labor, materials, and any specialized work required. We recommend contacting us with details about your electrical needs so we can give you an accurate price before any work begins.
Are you licensed and insured?
Frank's Electric, LLC maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to perform electrical work in Albuquerque, NM. When hiring an electrician, it's important to verify these credentials upfront to ensure the work meets code and protects you from liability. You can ask to see our documentation before we start any project.
Can Frank's Electric, LLC handle large electrical projects like service upgrades and new panel installations?
Yes, we specialize in full-scale electrical upgrades including 200 amp service installations, breaker panel replacements, and complete property rewiring. Our team has the expertise and equipment to manage major projects from start to finish. We've successfully completed complex installations including multiple panels and workshop power runs for residential properties.
How quickly can you respond to electrical emergencies?
Frank's Electric, LLC offers same-day troubleshooting and repair services for urgent electrical issues. When you contact us with a problem like flickering lights, tripped breakers, or unbalanced currents, we prioritize getting a technician to your location to diagnose and resolve the issue. Response times depend on current workload and your location in the Albuquerque area.
What should I expect from Frank's Electric, LLC regarding professionalism and communication?
We prioritize clear communication throughout your project to keep you informed every step of the way. Our technicians arrive in company vehicles and conduct themselves professionally at your home. We believe in explaining the work we're doing and why it's necessary, so you understand the value of the service and feel confident in our approach.
Why should I hire a professional electrician instead of attempting electrical work myself?
Electrical work involves serious safety risks including electrocution and fire hazards if not done correctly. Licensed electricians have specialized training, proper tools, and knowledge of local electrical codes to ensure work is safe and up to standard. Professional installation also protects manufacturer warranties on equipment and ensures your home's electrical system functions reliably long-term.
