3 years agoMy mom is 93 years old with failing eyesight, but she still likes to keep her home looking nice. However, mom eats most of her meals while sitting on her very comfy sofa -- and many spills had happened over the years. We went to look at new sofas, but not only were they expensive, the styles were not for us. We are old, and we like what we like. Anyway, I found Albuquerque Steamaway on Google Maps, and was able to schedule a cleaning in one day. David & Ryan arrived right on time, and in my opinion did not charge us nearly enough for the quality and amount of cleaning they accomplished. The couch looks as good as new, and the carpet was entirely revitalized and is now a beautiful light beige vs dingy grey. On top of that, the guys were funny, gracious, and charming -- which I was so thankful for because mom gets nervous when anything in her home is out of place. David assured my mom that they'd move everything back where it belonged before they departed. I know the best reviews are brief, but I am enormously thankful for the superb service my mom received today from Steamaway. I will definitely be calling them again. -

I called David to get a quote and the very next day he had Ryan and Hunter working at my home to do a few carpet repairs and some carpet stretching in the other part of my house. 3 years agoWe had a septic backup in the house that ran across the tile in three bathrooms to the adjacent carpeted areas. The carpet and pad was less than a year old. The techs were able to use a moisture meter to determine the extent of the damage in the pad and the walls. They replaced the padding and any affected tack stripping, and opened the wall to dry it. They were also able to steam clean the carpet in addition to steam cleaning all of the tile and grout. They did a fantastic job, at a reasonable price, and were a hoot to talk with as they worked. I will absolutely be a repeat customer.
