FAQ
How does Anderson Refrigeration, Inc. determine pricing, and do you offer free estimates?
We provide detailed written estimates that break down all costs before any work begins, including labor, equipment, materials, and permits. This transparency helps you understand exactly what you're paying for and allows you to compare quotes confidently. We recommend getting estimates from multiple contractors so you can make an informed decision based on scope, quality, and value rather than price alone.
Are you licensed, insured, and certified to work on HVAC systems?
Anderson Refrigeration, Inc. maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to serve residential and commercial clients safely and legally. Our technicians hold the certifications necessary to handle refrigerant and perform quality installations. When you hire us, you're protected against liability and have recourse if issues arise, which is why we always recommend verifying these credentials with any contractor you consider.
Does Anderson Refrigeration, Inc. handle custom ductwork and system replacements?
We specialize in replacing worn-out systems with high-efficiency equipment like Carrier units and designing engineered duct systems tailored to your home's specific needs. Whether you need a complete rooftop unit replacement, mini-split installation, or custom ductwork to improve airflow and comfort, we handle the full scope of work. Our experience with both residential and commercial projects means we can tackle complex installations that other shops may decline.
What should I expect for scheduling and how quickly can you arrive?
Anderson Refrigeration, Inc. prioritizes fast service and works to accommodate tight timelines when you need us most. We understand that HVAC emergencies can't wait weeks, so we aim to get a technician to your location promptly. When you contact us, we'll discuss your situation and provide a realistic timeline for arrival and project completion so you can plan accordingly.
Does Anderson Refrigeration, Inc. clean up debris and properly dispose of old equipment?
We handle the complete installation process professionally, which includes proper cleanup and disposal of your old unit and materials. A quality installation means leaving your home clean and your new system ready to operate efficiently. We take responsibility for the entire job from start to finish, so you don't have to worry about managing waste or dealing with leftover equipment.
Why should I hire a professional instead of attempting HVAC work myself?
HVAC systems require specialized knowledge, tools, and certifications that most homeowners don't have. Improper installation can reduce efficiency, shorten equipment life, and even create safety hazards with refrigerant handling and electrical connections. A professional conducts load calculations to size equipment correctly, inspects ductwork and airflow, verifies refrigerant charge, and ensures everything meets manufacturer and code standards-protecting your investment and your home's comfort for years to come.
