4 years agoI i'm only writing on here because I don't know what to do our experience started out great Hayden the technician that came out for us was amazing cannot say enough nice things about him however things got weird when I tried to call yesterday and their phone lines were down and it said Verizon announcement 24 for your call cannot go through when I googled what announcement 24 meant it said some thing about needing to make payment I've had a skunk in a cage for two days now I have left six voicemails got a call back yesterday from a guy who I might've been a little snippy with I did ask for a discount for the inconvenience he said he couldn't I then said OK go ahead and come out and take care of the skunk and I'll talk to my husband to see what we need to do from there he said OK nobody showed up yesterday and I have called multiple times today and gotten no response and no communication the skunk has been in the cage for going on two days now to me it's inhumane the fact that they pellet gun it and you have to deal with the stench is absolutely horrible I called another company that said they remove it and gas it which would be much nicer because the smell after a skunk is killed is absolutely horrible. I don't know where else to turn at this point I wrote a message on Reddit to the owner and I'm sure I'll hear back but this has just gotten crazy and I am extremely upset... that's fine if they can't offer a discount for the inconvenience of there phones being shut off I get it but it doesn't hurt to ask but for a company to have our credit card info on file and to blatantly Not get back to you when you have a live animal in a cage is just wrong I will be glad to update this review if the situation is straightened out but this is absolutely ridiculous So far we have spent just about $600 with them -

7 years agoFrauds! I'm extremely saddened and really lost a lot trust by hiring this company to help with critters. If I could give less stars I would. I try to be trusting while also being cautious and I wish I didn't hire this company. Here is what happened first they came out after calling them because I heard some scratching near my front door that sounded like it was under the house or in the wall. They sent a guy out and he put a few traps right inside our crawl space door in one area that is one place I recommended. They did not really do a through inspection of any other issues or even seemed concerned about really solving the problem I had told them I have smelled dead animals before in our basement. We have been seeing a lot of ground squirrels and wanted to see if they could bring some traps for those as well and at the recheck for the mice traps they brought a couple outdoor traps but when I went down with the guy to look at the original traps I asked did he see anything or catch anything and he said no he didn't see anything and that's what I was expecting because my husband had just looked into the crawl space because the past couple days we were having some electrical issues and he didn't see any rat caught in a trap and mind you they were all placed right by the door. I had left the guy in the basement to go outside to look for something and when I got back he had a bag in his hand with something in it and said he did get one big rat with a tiny mouse trap I said wow that weird after you said there was nothing. They don't get any additional money after the initial $250 set up fee but get $100 if they get a mouse or rat so yes this guy brought in something and made it seem like it was trapped in my crawl space the whole thing stinks and I have proof he's a liar and a crook. I let the owner know I no longer want there services and I would like my money refunded and I plan on exposing there practices and he tried to explain it away and would not refund my money. If I had more time I would have explained the whole situation in more detail but I hope if you chose to hire this company you watch and be cautious. I do plan on fighting this It's the principal not the little bit of money. You don't treat people or take advantage of customers this way. -

7 years agoThey quickly sprayed outside and beyond the toilet on the inside while indicating that it would likely take several treatments before results could be noticed. Perhaps that's true but I had expected a bit more than a token 15-minute effort. -

FAQ
How does Squish determine pricing for wildlife and pest control services?
We assess pricing based on the type of pest or wildlife, the extent of the infestation, and the property size to provide custom quotes. Free estimates are available after an initial inspection to evaluate the specific situation. This ensures homeowners receive accurate costs tailored to local challenges in New Hampshire.
Are you licensed and insured for pest and wildlife control work?
Squish maintains all necessary licensing and insurance required for wildlife and pest control operations in New Hampshire. Our technicians follow local regulations to ensure safe and compliant services. Homeowners can verify credentials during the initial contact for added peace of mind.
Does Squish handle removal of wasp or hornet nests?
We specialize in removing wasp and hornet nests, as shown in our work where technicians safely extract them from properties. Our team uses protective gear and equipment to access hard-to-reach areas like eaves or ground locations. Prevention methods are applied afterward to deter future nesting.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for scheduled services?
We schedule appointments with specific arrival windows, typically within a 2-hour block, and communicate any delays promptly. Initial services for rodents or insects may require multiple visits spaced days apart for effective results. Customers can expect clear updates on timelines during booking.
How does Squish handle cleanup and waste after pest control jobs?
We remove nests, debris, and waste from treated areas, leaving properties clean and clear of remnants. Technicians dispose of materials responsibly, including ground nests on mulch or other surfaces. Homeowners benefit from spaces ready for immediate use without lingering mess.
Why is your professional approach better and safer than DIY pest control?
Our methods target rodents, insects, and nuisance animals with practical removal and prevention suited to New Hampshire's local challenges, avoiding ineffective DIY risks like incomplete exclusion. Professionals use specialized equipment and knowledge to prevent re-infestation safely. DIY often leads to recurring problems due to overlooked entry points or improper handling.
