2 months agoUPDATE: 2/10/2026: Just as good the second time around: I can't recommend John at Garrison City HVAC enough. I just finished a massive emergency project-a new hybrid hot water heater and a full heat pump furnace/AC system-and John was a total rockstar throughout the whole process. I told him what I was trying to accomplish, and he came back with great ideas I hadn't thought of. He's super knowledgeable and helped me land on the best setup for the house. We had to make a few adjustments on the fly, and John didn't miss a beat. He was great with the changes and pivoted without any hassle. John removed all the old equipment and the new install looks amazing. The work is clean, organized, and clearly done by someone who takes pride in what they do. If you want an HVAC guy who is honest, fast, and knows his stuff inside and out, John is the one to call. My house is comfortable, the equipment is top-notch, and the whole experience was stress-free. 10/1/2024: Living in a two-story home was a constant temperature battle! We were either shivering downstairs or baking in the upstairs bedrooms. I called Garrison City HVAC and I'm so glad I did! John, the owner, came out himself and took the time to understand the problem. The installation was smooth and professional. John was respectful of my home, cleaned up, and took the time to ensure the new thermostats and sensors worked across all of the systems and apps. Now, I can finally set different temperatures for upstairs and downstairs - total game changer! -

1 year agoI recently purchased a new gas stove and needed someone to disconnect the old one and then install the new one. My electrician referred me to John LeFebvre at Garrison City HVARC. The issue with this type of service is arranging to disconnect and reconnect around the delivery date and time. John knew I didn't want to be without a stove for long and was very flexible. John showed up the evening (after dinner) before for the disconnect and told me to call him when the new stove arrived the next day. John showed up about an hour after the delivery. He had the necessary parts and even installed the "tip prevention," which I had no idea about. He also leveled the stove perfectly. You know the issue if you have used a stove that was not level(especially with a center griddle). John was highly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to get everything correct and safe. He is my new HVARC guy. -

FAQ
Does Garrison City HVACR LLC offer free estimates for HVAC services?
We provide free, no-obligation estimates after assessing your heating, cooling, or water heater needs on-site. Pricing depends on the scope of work, such as routine maintenance, emergency repairs, or full installations like furnaces and mini-splits. This upfront quote helps you understand all costs before committing to any project.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Garrison City HVACR LLC holds all necessary licensing and insurance required for HVAC contracting in Dover, NH, covering heating, cooling, and water heater installations. Our team follows industry standards to ensure safe handling of refrigerants and equipment. Homeowners can verify our credentials through state records for added peace of mind.
Does Garrison City HVACR LLC handle water heater installation and replacement?
We install and replace water heaters, including hybrid hot water heaters and standard units, as part of our core services alongside HVAC systems. Our process includes proper disconnection of old units and connection of new gas or electric models to meet code requirements. Expect a thorough assessment to match the right size and efficiency to your home's demands.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for service calls?
We arrive when scheduled, even for emergency repairs on weekends, with clear arrival windows communicated upfront to fit your day. Routine maintenance or installations like mini-splits and furnaces typically complete in one to two days depending on complexity. Delays from permitting or parts are rare, but we keep you informed every step.
Does Garrison City HVACR LLC clean up after HVAC installations or repairs?
We remove all old equipment, debris, and packaging materials from your property after every job, leaving your home or utility area clean and tidy. This includes hauling away replaced water heaters, furnace components, or outdoor unit pads. Our technicians use protective coverings to minimize mess during the work itself.
Why is hiring you better than attempting HVAC repairs as a DIY project?
Professional installation ensures systems like Rheem furnaces, LG or Samsung mini-splits operate safely and efficiently, avoiding risks such as refrigerant leaks or improper gas connections that DIY often causes. We use precise techniques for ductwork, airflow testing, and unit placement to prevent future breakdowns and energy waste. Homeowners save time and avoid costly mistakes by letting our experienced team handle diagnostics and fixes correctly from the start.
