2 years agoI worked with Northern Nevada Electric a few months back on a home renovation. Overall, the experience was okay. They were very flexible with my perpetually late general contractor and the craftsmanship was in line with what I've seen from electricians in the past. I'm giving 2 stars largely because of a mixup on switch types. I asked them to use Lutron switches and outlets to match the remainder of my house and it was clearly written and priced in the quote. Yet when they showed up they only had their default switch. They managed to get the right switches the next day, but continued to hassle me "do you really need this type behind the TV?". I thought they had gotten them all, but I just found another 2 that are a generic brand and don't fit the faceplates right. I know me specifying hardware is a pain in the butt. Another pet peeve - there are several locations where they mounted the electrical box poorly and used drywall screws to connect the outlet to the box. Electricians should have the correct hardware on hand. Wrapping up the review in one word - unprofessional. -

2 years agoZack was so wonderful I called him because my electric went out the day after Christmas in a wind and snow storm he talked me though how to fix the problem it was fabulous The fact that he cared to help a stranger, was so nice it was a late Christmas present to me, I'm senior living on social security so saving money is important to me.Thank you so much Zack -
