4 weeks agoWe went with Blue Collar HVAC because of the reviews but our experience was not what we read. Kyle came out and right away said that it was going to be $1,100 to fix a leak and he had no availability until later in the week. However, he had no idea where the leak was coming from. So upon asking more questions he then said he could do a pressure test to determine where the leak was in the system, which he charged $258 to be credited towards the total repair of $1,100. Anyways, after determining that it was in the unit itself, he said he could not find or repair the leak until Friday. Then when we asked what our options were, Kyle mentioned new coils for $6,000 or a new unit for $11,000. At which point, he miraculously had availability to replace new coils or a new unit tomorrow, obviously because of the price tag. However, when it came to the $842.00 repair he had no availability until Friday. So we sit for 4 days in record temps for a fix. Very disappointed. Side note, received our receipt for the $258 we paid and the difference for the job increased by $53 from what Kyle told my husband and I. -

1 month agoI am so happy I found Blue Collar HVAC! Steve went above and beyond with his excellent customer service. He made sure to accommodate my schedule, which I truly appreciated. Roger, Erik, and Dom did a wonderful job installing my new air unit today. They were professional, efficient, and made sure everything was clean and picked up before they left. Roger also installed a smart thermostat and took the time to help me connect it to my phone. He patiently showed me how everything works, which I really appreciated. It's not easy to find a company with such great customer service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I'm very glad I chose Blue Collar HVAC and highly recommend them!

FAQ
How does Blue Collar HVAC determine pricing for HVAC services?
We keep pricing fair by providing clear, upfront quotes based on the specific issue, parts needed, and labor required for furnace repairs, system installations, or service calls. Our team explains all costs before starting work to avoid surprises. This approach ensures you understand exactly what you're paying for and why.
Are you licensed and insured?
Blue Collar HVAC carries all necessary licensing and insurance to protect your home and our team during HVAC work. We meet local requirements for handling heating and cooling systems in Las Vegas, NV. You can request proof of our credentials upon contacting us for added peace of mind.
Does Blue Collar HVAC handle furnace repairs and full HVAC system installations?
We specialize in furnace repairs with parts on hand for quick fixes and complete HVAC system installations tailored to your home. Our service also covers same-day calls for heating and cooling issues. This allows us to address everything from minor breakdowns to full replacements efficiently.
What is your typical arrival window and scheduling process?
We offer same-day service calls when possible, with technicians arriving on time within a short window after your call, such as within two hours as shown in customer experiences. Expect our team to confirm the appointment details upfront so you can plan your day. This prompt response minimizes downtime for your heating or cooling system.
Does Blue Collar HVAC clean up after the job and handle debris?
We treat your home with care by using protective measures during the work and leaving it clean once finished, including proper disposal of old parts or debris from repairs and installations. Our team respects your space, working neatly to avoid messes. You'll find your home in better condition than when we arrived.
Why is hiring you better than attempting a DIY HVAC fix?
Our technicians diagnose issues accurately using photos and videos to show you the problem, like faulty furnace components, preventing guesswork that often leads to bigger damage in DIY attempts. We carry parts on hand for immediate repairs, ensuring safety by following proper procedures for refrigerants and electrical work. Professional handling avoids risks such as voided warranties or inefficient systems that raise energy costs.
