1 year ago7/5/2024.. My daughter, stepson & granddaughter rent a house in Paradise.. It is management owned & rent isn't that bad. This co. is awesome ! Moses & his sons.. By 11am he was there & diagnosed a bad AC condenser(2001).. By 1pm I called him the work was authorized & he was picking up unit... By 1:45pm he was at the side of the house starting the work.. He had already arranged a permit which I had no clue was necessary... Before 3:30pm the AC was back on & he even put a Carrier unit in instead of Goodman.. Although I didn't foot the bill, I can tell this guy is fair & not one that rips people off like 80% of heating & ac folks in Vegas... These rental management companies know their tight budgeting & what things cost so at his discretion he was able to put a Carrier unit in instead of Goodman which I believe he made less $ to appease us... Highly recommend!! -

Boring Reviews
3 years agoMoe and his team are fantastic. We used them to take a look at our AC system after buying a home. It's five years old and we were concerned the system may have been in need of repair. Moe and his team came in quickly and on time. Greeted us with a smile and asked politely to come in. He was able to do his checks inside while his partner did the work needed outside. They were concise and were very knowledgeable. He told me about my system and helped me better understand it. He made minor repairs and helped it to run better. I appreciate finding his business in Las Vegas among so many other businesses that I didn't trust. It's good to know a company locally that know what to do and won't try to overcharge me.

FAQ
How does Allstar Heating & Cooling determine pricing for HVAC services?
We base pricing on the specific scope of work, including equipment needs, labor, and any required materials for design, installation, maintenance, or repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Factors like system size, ductwork condition, and efficiency optimizations in desert heat influence the final cost. We provide detailed written estimates upfront to outline what is included, such as permits and inspections when applicable, helping you understand the value before committing.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Allstar Heating & Cooling carries the necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC contracting, including handling refrigerants under EPA 608 certification standards. Our coverage includes workers' compensation and general liability to protect against potential issues like property damage. We comply with local permitting and inspection requirements in Las Vegas, NV, ensuring all work meets safety and code standards.
Does Allstar Heating & Cooling handle duct cleaning and rooftop unit installations?
We provide duct and dryer vent cleaning as part of our services to ensure proper airflow and system efficiency, especially important in dusty desert environments. Our team installs and services rooftop HVAC units, including brands like Goodman and American Standard for both residential and commercial properties. These tasks involve thorough inspections of ductwork, static pressure measurements, and modifications if needed to optimize performance.
What is your typical timeline for scheduling and completing HVAC jobs?
We work out schedules flexibly, often accommodating urgent needs like arriving within 24 hours for repairs and completing fixes in a few hours once our installation team arrives. For larger projects such as new setups or county inspections, expect coordination around your availability, with timelines from deposit to completion depending on permitting. Our crew sets clear expectations for arrival windows and verifies performance testing before leaving.
What happens to debris and how do you leave the home after Allstar Heating & Cooling service?
We clean up all waste and debris from the job site, including old parts, packaging, and any dust from duct cleaning or installations. Our team uses protective measures like drop cloths to safeguard your floors and furnishings during the work. You can expect your home or business to be left neat and operational, with a walkthrough to confirm everything functions smoothly.
Why is hiring you better and safer than attempting HVAC repairs as a DIY project?
Professional handling ensures accurate system sizing through load calculations that account for airflow, insulation, and desert heat factors, avoiding inefficiencies or failures from improper DIY setups. We follow installation best practices like verifying refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and static pressure, which prevent safety risks such as leaks or electrical hazards common in amateur attempts. Our knowledge of local codes and tools allows for thorough inspections and optimizations that extend equipment life beyond what DIY methods can achieve.
