We moved into our new build in July of 2022. We have had nothing but issues with the flooring in our house which was all installed by Future Floors. The kitchen LVP flooring has a spot that keeps popping up, the basement carpeting has big seam running through half the room and recently had to have grout replaced in shower floor of primary bathroom. We have asked the company to fix multiple times. The owner comes out says he will take care of us and then sends someone out to just glue LVP planking. They never ever addressed downstairs carpeting and we didn't even contact them about the grout! I would stay away from this company and if you are building a new house, I suggest getting an inspection of your new build before moving in!!

Do not use this place for tile. They are absolutely terrible. I am building a new house and there are issues in four different rooms. They have tried 2 different times to fix so far and it just keeps getting worse. The carpet guys did a pretty good job. Wood floor looks okay, but I wouldn't pay them to do it again.

They did an awesome job on all of my floors. It was kind of a long process in our opinion because that was the last thing we waited for before moving into our new home. They did a wonderful job, they were very polite and dedicated to finishing the job because they knew we were anxious about moving in. The price of the floors was covered under my home-builder's contract.

This two day job turned out to be a nightmare. After they were done sanding the floor, they didn't remove the wood dust from the floor before covering it with latex. They only worked a few hours each day. I had requested a polyurethane floor when they were done, and they didn't do that either. The floor had a sand paper finish and wasn't smooth. It wasn't what I wanted at all. This would have cost me $650, but since they did such bad job, they didn't charge me at all.

FAQ

How does Future Floors Omaha determine pricing for carpet installation?

We measure your space on-site to calculate the exact square footage needed for carpet, padding, and any additional materials. Pricing includes labor for removal of old flooring if required, supply of materials, and full installation tailored to your home or business layout. Custom quotes account for factors like room size, carpet type, and subfloor conditions to ensure transparency before work begins.

Are you licensed and insured?

Future Floors Omaha maintains proper licensing and insurance to protect homeowners during carpet, flooring, and tile projects. Our credentials cover potential accidents or damages, giving you security throughout the installation process. We handle all regulatory requirements for work in Omaha, NE.

Does Future Floors Omaha handle tile installation and showroom visits for flooring samples?

We provide complete tile installation services as part of our flooring contractor offerings, measuring, supplying, and fitting tiles precisely in homes and businesses. Our showroom at 7009 L St in Omaha, NE 68117 displays carpet, flooring, and tile samples for you to view and select from in person. This full-service approach covers carpet contracting, flooring, and tile from start to finish.

What is the typical timeline for your flooring projects?

We assess your project scope during the initial measurement to provide a clear timeline, which can range from one day for smaller areas to multiple days for whole-home carpet or tile installs. Our crew coordinates arrival windows and works efficiently to minimize disruption, often completing rooms sequentially if needed. Expect direct communication on start dates and daily progress updates.

What cleanup process does Future Floors Omaha follow after installation?

Our team removes all debris, including old flooring materials and installation waste, leaving your space clean and ready for immediate use. We focus on thorough sweeping and vacuuming post-install to eliminate dust and remnants from the job. This ensures your home or business returns to normal condition right away.

Why is professional carpet installation safer and better than DIY?

We use specialized tools and techniques for precise measuring, cutting, and securing carpet to avoid common DIY issues like uneven seams, buckling, or subfloor damage. Our experienced crew handles supply sourcing and on-site adjustments that prevent long-term problems such as wear or tripping hazards. Homeowners benefit from proper padding installation and waste management, which DIY often overlooks, leading to shorter carpet lifespan.
