10 months agoThese guys are the absolute best, never going to call anyone else in Lincoln. Our geothermal unit was acting up on a very hot day and after not hearing back from other shops in town, I called ComfortTechs and they were at our front door within an hour. Our service tech, Ian was so amazing, super friendly, explained everything clearly and genuinely cared about fixing our issue and making sure everything was perfect before he left. Cannot recommend these guys enough! 10/10 service! -

FAQ
Does Comforttechs offer free estimates for HVAC installations?
We provide free, detailed estimates after assessing your home's needs, including factors like square footage, insulation, and existing ductwork. This ensures accurate pricing for systems such as heat pumps, geothermal setups, or radiant floor heating. Our quotes outline equipment, labor, and any necessary modifications upfront.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Comforttechs holds all required licensing as a gasfitter and HVAC contractor, along with full insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation. This protects your property during installations like furnaces, boilers, or minisplit systems. We comply with local codes for safe, professional service.
Does Comforttechs install hydronic floor heating and radiant systems?
We specialize in installing hydronic floor heat, radiant floor heating tubes, and complex systems with boilers and manifolds for both residential and commercial spaces. Our team ensures proper setup tailored to your area's layout for even, efficient warmth. These systems integrate well with zoning and thermostats for precise control.
What is your typical timeline for HVAC projects?
We schedule installations based on project scope, with most furnace, boiler, or ductwork jobs completing in 1-3 days after approval. Arrival windows are confirmed 24 hours ahead, and our team coordinates to minimize disruption. Larger setups like geothermal or full zoning may take up to a week, including any permitting.
What does Comforttechs do with debris and cleanup after installation?
We remove all old equipment, packaging, and debris from sites like basements or construction areas, leaving your space clean and protected with drop cloths during work. This applies to furnace replacements, water heaters, or thermostat installs. Our goal is for you to return to a tidy home ready for immediate use.
Why is hiring you better than attempting a DIY HVAC project?
Professional installations follow strict codes for refrigerant handling, duct sealing, and electrical connections, preventing efficiency losses or safety hazards that DIY often causes. We perform load calculations and airflow tests to size systems correctly for your home, unlike guesswork methods. This extends equipment life and avoids costly fixes from improper setups like mismatched boilers or line sets.
