11 months agoA capacitor on our AC unit went out and blew 2 more electric parts. We called, and he came out the same day. He had to try several things to figure it out and had to come back the next day. He came back, fixed it, and only charged us for one trip. Very nice, very personable, professional, and reasonably priced. Will absolutely call him the next time I need something done. Very satisfied customer! -

FAQ
Does Starkey Heating and Air LLC offer free estimates for HVAC repairs?
We provide same-day diagnostics for issues like AC capacitor failures and blown electrical parts, which allow us to give you an accurate assessment upfront. Our pricing is based on the specific problem identified during the diagnostic visit, ensuring transparency without hidden fees. This approach helps homeowners understand the full scope and cost before committing to repairs.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Starkey Heating and Air LLC holds the necessary licensing and insurance required for HVAC contracting in Kearney, NE. We carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage to protect your property and our team during service calls. Homeowners can request proof of these credentials upon contacting us for added peace of mind.
Can Starkey Heating and Air LLC handle AC capacitor failures and blown electrical parts?
We specialize in diagnosing and repairing AC capacitor failures along with related blown electrical parts in air conditioning units. Our process involves thorough testing to identify the root cause, which may require multiple steps or a follow-up visit to fully resolve. This targeted service gets your system running efficiently without unnecessary replacements.
What is your typical timeline for HVAC repairs?
We aim for same-day service when you call about unexpected breakdowns like air conditioner failures. Arrival windows depend on our schedule in Kearney, NE, but we prioritize urgent issues to minimize downtime. If further parts or testing are needed, we schedule a quick follow-up, often the next day, to complete the fix promptly.
Does Starkey Heating and Air LLC clean up after HVAC repairs?
We leave your home as clean as we found it by using drop cloths during the work and removing all debris from diagnostics and repairs. This includes disposing of any faulty parts like capacitors or electrical components properly. Our focus on cleanup ensures no mess remains for you to handle after we restore your comfort.
Why is it safer to hire you for HVAC repairs instead of trying DIY?
Professional diagnostics involve specialized tools and knowledge to pinpoint issues like capacitor failures that affect electrical parts, avoiding risks of further damage or electrical hazards. DIY attempts often miss interconnected problems, leading to repeated breakdowns or safety issues from improper handling of refrigerants and wiring. Our methodical approach ensures lasting repairs while preventing voided warranties or code violations that homeowners might overlook.
