2 months agoJosh was easy to work with. He dropped our tree through a tight window and he and his crew cleaned up everything and hauled it all away. Highly recommended! -

4 months agoA large dead pine tree next to our house had to be removed before it fell onto our house. There was only one area it could land in safely. Other tree service companies turned down the job due to its difficulty. Josh & his crew dropped the tree right between our well & new shed perfectly. I highly recommend PJ'S Tree Service for any type of tree work at a fair price. Thanks! -

7 months agoThey might be priced like any tree-cutting business, but P.J.'s Tree Services is worth every penny and more! We definitely recommend them! We planted hollies this year when my husband decided that our sickly, approximately 80-100 ft tall, 50+ year-old Ponderosa pine and our dead birch needed to go. The pine was very close to the house, and the new bushes were underneath it. Naturally, I was worried. On the scheduled day, P.J.'s Tree Services' truck got a flat tire. Despite this, they still showed up and, while having it fixed, did an amazing job! P.J.'s team (Jeremy and, I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name, but to me, you're a rockstar) is friendly, highly skilled, hard-working, and extra mindful of their surroundings. When the trees were gone, the hollies and our house stood tall, and everything looked clean as if nothing had happened. The crew not only raked both yards and the driveway, but the owner of P.J.'s Tree Services came for a final inspection and, on his own initiative, even cleaned our gutters! If you need a tree removed, especially if you have the same concerns I did, let me assure you P.J.'s Tree Services is the way to go! P.S. I should also mention that P.J.'s crew is not only professional but also trustworthy. While they were working, I left the house and told them that if they finished before I returned, the door was unlocked, and the check was inside on the kitchen counter. When I got back, they were just finishing up. The check was still sitting untouched on the counter. In fact, they didn't enter the house at all.

FAQ
How does PJ's Tree Service - Missoula determine pricing for tree removal and trimming?
Pricing depends on factors like tree size, height, location, and job complexity, such as access challenges or emergency situations. We provide custom quotes after assessing the site to ensure fairness based on the work required. Homeowners can expect transparent estimates that reflect the value of competent, efficient service for jobs like removing 80-100 ft tall trees.
Are you licensed and insured for tree work?
PJ's Tree Service - Missoula carries the necessary insurance to protect homeowners and our team during tree removal and trimming jobs. This coverage safeguards against potential property damage or injuries that can occur with heavy equipment and tall trees. Always verify proof of insurance before any work begins to ensure your property is protected.
Does PJ's Tree Service - Missoula handle emergency tree removal for storm damage?
We manage emergency tree removals, including situations where fallen trees have damaged garages or structures, as seen in our local Missoula jobs. Our crew uses boom lifts and proper equipment to safely clear hazards quickly. Contact us promptly after storm damage to assess and schedule the removal.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for tree service jobs?
PJ's Tree Service - Missoula schedules jobs efficiently, often completing assessments and providing quotes on-site during the initial visit. Arrival windows are confirmed in advance, with our team arriving prepared to work within the agreed timeframe. Larger removals may take a full day, but we keep you updated on any adjustments.
What happens to debris and cleanup after PJ's Tree Service - Missoula completes a tree job?
We leave every job site spotless, hauling away stumps, logs, and branches to ensure your property is clean and ready for use. Piles of debris like those from removals are fully removed, avoiding any mess on your lawn or driveway. This thorough cleanup is standard for all our tree trimming and removal services.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting tree removal or trimming as a DIY project?
Professional crews use specialized boom lifts, ropes, and tools to handle tall, hazardous trees without risking falls, property damage, or injuries that DIY often causes. Our years of experience ensure precise pruning that promotes tree health, unlike amateur cuts that can lead to disease or instability. Homeowners avoid costly mistakes by letting experts manage the equipment and safety protocols required for these jobs.
