FAQ
Does Graves Heating and Cooling offer free estimates for HVAC installations and repairs?
We provide detailed quotes based on your specific heating or cooling needs after an initial assessment of your home's system. Factors like equipment type, such as Goodman products with 10-year warranties, labor for installation or repair, and any necessary modifications determine the final pricing. Contact us to schedule a no-obligation visit where we explain the breakdown clearly.
Are you licensed, insured, and experienced with HVAC work?
Graves Heating and Cooling holds all required licensing and insurance to handle HVAC installations and repairs safely in Kalispell, MT. Our team has hands-on expertise with products like Goodman units, ensuring proper application and installation. We maintain continuous communication throughout the process to build trust with homeowners.
Does Graves Heating and Cooling handle furnace or boiler installations?
We manage full HVAC installations, including furnaces and boilers, tailored to northwest Montana's weather demands. Our technicians work precisely on these systems, as shown in our mobile workshop setups for efficient on-site preparation. This approach ensures your heating system operates reliably year-round.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for HVAC service appointments?
We schedule appointments with clear arrival windows, usually within a 2-hour block, and confirm with you ahead of time. Most repairs happen same-day or next-day depending on parts availability, while installations take 1-2 days from quote approval. Expect us to update you on any changes to keep your day on track.
What does Graves Heating and Cooling do with debris and waste after an HVAC job?
We remove all old equipment, packaging, and debris from your property after completing installations or repairs. Our team uses drop cloths and shoe covers to protect your floors and surfaces during the work. Your home stays clean and ready for immediate use once we finish.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting a DIY HVAC repair or installation?
Professional HVAC work requires specialized tools and knowledge to avoid risks like refrigerant mishandling or electrical hazards that DIY efforts often cause. We follow manufacturer specs for proper sizing, charging, and testing, which prevents system failures and voided warranties. Homeowners save time and money long-term by avoiding common errors like incorrect installations that lead to inefficiency or breakdowns.
