3 months agoWhen we were preparing to sell our house, we contacted 406 Disaster Response to help with some carpet cleaning and other cleaning and let me tell you, that carpet was super clean and the team was very nice and they were such hard workers. After we moved we had a water issue reported to us by a realtor showing our house and I contacted 406 to see if they could go check out the issue and let me know what the issue was. They went over immediately and fixed the issue without hesitation!! It felt so good being 1,000 miles away and knowing that the issue was resolved. Very thankful for the team at 406 Disaster Response! Thank you!! -

FAQ
How does 406 Disaster Response determine pricing for water damage restoration?
We assess the extent of the damage, including affected areas like flooring, walls, and any microbial growth risks, to provide a detailed quote. Factors such as the type of water involved, like clean water from a dishwasher leak or contaminated sewage, influence the cost due to varying remediation needs. Our goal is to offer transparent pricing based on the scope of mitigation and full restoration required.
Do you offer free estimates for fire and water damage services?
We provide free estimates to evaluate your property and outline the necessary steps for restoration. This allows homeowners to understand the process without upfront costs. Contact us anytime for a prompt assessment, especially in emergencies.
Does 406 Disaster Response handle mold remediation and sewage cleanup after water damage?
Our team performs mold remediation using specialized techniques like spraying in hazmat suits to address growth after water exposure. We also manage sewage cleanup, such as under-house backups, by protecting surrounding areas with plastic runners during the process. These services prevent secondary damage and ensure safe property recovery.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for emergency water damage calls?
406 Disaster Response responds immediately to 24/7 emergency calls, arriving quickly to start mitigation and limit further harm. Timelines vary by damage scope, but we prioritize rapid drying with air movers and removal of affected materials to speed up restoration. Expect clear communication on each phase, from initial cleanup to coordinating local subcontractors for rebuilds.
How does 406 Disaster Response handle cleanup and debris after fire or water damage remediation?
We remove all damaged materials like flooring and walls, then thoroughly clean the site to leave your property secure. Protective measures, such as plastic runners, keep unaffected areas clean during the work. Our process ensures waste is properly disposed of, allowing safe re-entry for homeowners.
Why is professional water damage restoration safer than attempting DIY fixes?
Professionals identify all affected areas accurately, using tools like air movers and inspection methods to prevent hidden issues like mold or structural weakening that DIY often misses. Our approach lowers risks of secondary damage from microbial growth by starting remediation promptly, unlike DIY which can spread contaminants. Trained teams follow safety protocols for hazards like sewage, ensuring your health and property integrity over time.
