1 month agoMike cleared the burned pine trees on my land after a wildfire. He was careful not to disturb any more ground than necessary. On the hillside, he left logs placed horizontally to minimize erosion. He also salvaged logs and trucked them to a mill, the sale offsetting his charges. I was extremely satisfied with his work and highly recommend him. -

7 months agoRecently Martelli Forestry did some fire prevention, clean-up, and removal of standing dead trees on our property at Georgetown Lake. Mike and crew have worked for us in the past and we've always appreciated their professionalism, attention to detail, affordability, and the job they do. Glad to see they still do the great job they've always done. Also glad I didn't injure myself trying to do work I'm no longer capable of doing. Thanks Mike

FAQ
How does Martelli Forestry determine pricing for tree services like fire prevention and dead tree removal?
We assess the size, location, and number of trees along with site access and terrain to provide a custom quote. Estimates are free and prepared after an on-site visit to ensure accuracy for your specific property needs. This approach accounts for factors like hillside work that affects overall costs.
Are you licensed and insured for tree service work?
Martelli Forestry carries full licensing and insurance required for tree services in the Anaconda, MT area to protect your property and our crew. We build trust through repeat work with locals around Georgetown Lake, as shown in customer experiences. Homeowners can verify our credentials before scheduling.
Does Martelli Forestry handle fire prevention, property clean-up, and removal of standing dead trees?
We specialize in fire prevention, thorough property clean-up, and careful removal of standing dead trees, especially after wildfires. Our crew uses heavy machinery like grapple loaders and skidders visible in our snowy forest operations to process and pile logs efficiently. These services minimize risks and restore properties around areas like Georgetown Lake.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for tree service jobs?
We schedule jobs after approving your quote, aiming to complete work within a mutually agreed timeframe based on crew availability and weather. Our team arrives at the start of the planned window, often in areas like Georgetown Lake where we've done repeat projects. Expect clear communication on exact arrival times to fit your schedule.
What does Martelli Forestry do with debris and waste after tree removal and clean-up?
We handle all debris by processing trees into log piles using logging machines, leaving your property cleared of waste. On hillsides, we place logs horizontally to curb erosion, as done after wildfires. This ensures the site is left stable and ready for recovery without additional clean-up needed from you.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting tree removal DIY after a wildfire?
Our professional methods use specialized equipment to minimize ground disturbance and prevent erosion on slopes, unlike DIY efforts that risk further damage or injury. We apply techniques like strategic log placement for hillside stability, informed by local wildfire experience. Professionals avoid common hazards such as unstable dead trees falling unpredictably.
