8 months agoI reached out to this company on May 29th and followed up multiple times, providing pictures of the work I needed done as requested. Despite assurances that I'd receive a quote, no one got back to me. After more follow up, I spoke to someone on the phone who told me they haven't won any city bids for fence damages / installations which mine falls under, so they don't pursue those projects. That explanation is understandable - if it had been communicated form the beginning, it wasn't. Instead, my time was wasted waiting for a response that never came. Clear, honest communication up front would've saved everyone time and frustration. -

FAQ
Does Kennedy Fence Corporation offer free estimates, and how do you determine fence pricing?
We provide custom quotes based on the specifics of each fence project rather than flat pricing. The cost is influenced by the type of material you choose, such as wood, vinyl, or custom wrought iron, as well as the total footage and any design details like specialty cuts or gates. Site conditions, including slopes, access, and existing structures, also affect labor and material needs. We walk you through these factors so you understand how the price is built and where you may have options to adjust the scope or materials.
Are you licensed and insured, and how can I feel confident about your reputation?
Kennedy Fence Corporation operates as a professional fencing contractor with the structure and staffing needed to handle residential, commercial, and industrial work responsibly. Our long history building fences in St. Louis since 1950 reflects deep experience with local properties, materials, and installation challenges. We maintain the appropriate business credentials and insurance typical for established contractors in this field. You can review our completed projects and talk with our team about past work to better understand the quality of our fence installations.
Can Kennedy Fence Corporation handle custom wrought iron pool fences and gates like the ones in your photos?
We install and fabricate custom metal fencing and gates, including decorative wrought iron-style enclosures similar to those shown around pools. Our team designs and builds fence sections and gate systems to fit your specific layout, whether you need a simple perimeter fence or an ornate entrance. We also work with grade changes and specialty cuts, so features like steps, slopes, or retaining areas can be integrated cleanly into the fence line. For pools, we discuss layout, access points, and local safety requirements so your fence both looks good and functions correctly.
What should I expect for scheduling and how long does a typical fence installation take with your team?
Kennedy Fence Corporation schedules projects with a defined start window and a realistic installation timeframe based on the size and complexity of the fence. Simpler residential fences can often be installed within a short, concentrated period once materials are ready, while large commercial or industrial jobs may be phased over a longer schedule. We coordinate with you on access and any important dates, such as events or opening days, so the work sequence fits your needs. If weather or site conditions affect the timeline, we communicate adjustments and keep you updated on progress.
How does Kennedy Fence Corporation handle cleanup and leftover materials after installing my fence?
We treat cleanup as a standard part of the fencing job, not an extra. Our crew removes installation debris such as old fence sections, scrap metal, cutoffs, and packaging so your yard or business exterior is left in orderly condition. We check the fence line for loose fasteners or small offcuts that could be a nuisance or hazard before we leave. If there are any materials you want to keep, such as reusable gates or hardware, we set those aside as discussed at the start of the project.
Why is it safer and more effective to have you install my fence instead of doing it myself?
We bring decades of experience with different fence materials, soil conditions, and property layouts that are difficult to match in a one-time DIY project. Our team understands how to set posts, align long fence runs, and handle slopes or rises so the finished fence is straight, level, and structurally sound. Professional tools and techniques help us avoid common issues like loose posts, sagging sections, or binding gates that often appear later with improvised installations. By having us handle the work, you reduce the risk of costly corrections, rework, or safety concerns around pools, driveways, and property boundaries.
