3 years agoRose Extermination has been the preferred vendor of my office for eight years, since 2014. When I scheduled an appointment for our two buildings to be sprayed, they never arrived to the initial appointment. We were not contacted about this, and I rescheduled for another date. This time, Brian arrived and refused to service our food pantry because of our organization's masking policies. We desperately needed our building serviced so we decided to allow him entry without a mask and asked that he just give space to our staff and clients. This was not good enough for him and he left without servicing us and was a no-show with no notice to our other building's appointment as well. For the third time, I call to make an appointment and request that we have someone service our buildings that are okay with wearing a mask while they are inside around our staff and clients/guests. I was assured that won't be a problem and booked our THIRD appointment. This morning (several days from the final booking we made) with five hours until our appointment, Brian called and informed me that they as a company do not and will not wear masks and that masking does not prevent Covid infection. At this point we have been run around in circles for an entire month only to be denied service at every juncture. Absolutely terrible service! We will never be using Rose Extermination again and will share this experience with all who ask about their services. Truly a waste of our time, full of frustration and headaches. Now, after eight years of a business relationship, and a full month of expecting pest prevention service at our community food pantry (as we head into the summer months!) we are empty handed, dissapointed, and back at square one.

FAQ
How does Rose Extermination Co. determine pricing for pest control services?
We provide free estimates for residential customers, which can often be given over the phone based on your description of the problem. If an in-person inspection is needed to assess the full scope of work, there is an inspection fee that we waive if you decide to move forward with our services. The final cost depends on factors like the size of your property, the type of pest, and the extent of the infestation, so getting an estimate tailored to your specific situation is the best way to understand what you'll pay.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Rose Extermination Co. maintains all necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance to operate professionally in Missouri. When our technicians visit your home for inspection and treatment, we're happy to provide copies of these certifications for your records. This protects both you and your property throughout the service process.
Does Rose Extermination Co. handle both wildlife removal and pest control?
We handle both wildlife and pest control for homes and offices, with expertise in common issues like mice, termites, and other unwanted creatures. Our approach starts with a thorough inspection to identify the specific pests and the conditions allowing them to enter or thrive in your space. Once we understand the problem, we develop targeted treatments and mitigation steps designed to eliminate the current infestation and prevent future ones.
How quickly can you schedule an appointment, and how long does the initial service take?
Rose Extermination Co. schedules appointments quickly to address your pest concerns without unnecessary delay. The initial service typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour because our technicians conduct a thorough inspection of your property, identify problem areas, and develop a treatment plan specific to your situation. Follow-up visits are usually faster since we're already familiar with your property and any ongoing needs.
What happens to debris and waste after Rose Extermination Co. treats my home?
Our team handles the removal of pest remains and debris as part of the treatment process, leaving your property clean and ready to use. We focus on thorough cleanup so you don't have to deal with the aftermath of treatment. If we identify conducive conditions during inspection-like gaps, cracks, or areas where pests can enter-we'll discuss mitigation options with you to seal those entry points and prevent reinfestation.
Why is professional pest control better than handling it myself?
Professional pest control is safer and more effective than DIY approaches because we use EPA-approved products correctly and know where pests hide and how they behave at different life stages. Our trained technicians understand the root causes of infestations, not just the symptoms, so we address conducive conditions that allow pests to return. We also provide warranties on our work-including annual coverage for ongoing clients-so if pests return between scheduled visits, we return at no extra charge to retreat the problem.
