4 months agoThe Perez team removed several large limbs from three massive trees in our yard, and we were very pleased with their services. From the beginning, they were great to work with. Rafael promptly responded to my request for a quote and came out the next day to provide a proposal on the spot. I reached out to other tree service providers for quotes, but many of them never responded. The Perez team arrived exactly at the time and date that Rafael committed to and worked efficiently and thoroughly. They also did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. My husband and I would definitely use their services again. -

10 months agoHave to give 2 out of 5 because cleanup and staff were nice. We discussed I wanted my trees dead area trimmed in front. WAS a beautiful oak tree 100 plus years old. Now it's hardly got any branches on it. I really just wanted the stuff done with a pole saw like I discussed but they trimmed 3/4ths of my tree and now have less shade and privacy. They did a good job of clearing stuff but before I got to tell them it was too late for my front yard oak. It was beautiful. For 2800 it was a steal but I would've gladly have given him 2800 do do way less and keep my tree more intact. Rafael was not there on tree trimming day and said "my guy called me 3 times to make sure he was doing it right". I was home the whole time. If they had asked me while I was there it would've been nice before starting if they were so unsure. My heart is aching for my tree. -

10 months agoWe hired Rafael Perez, owner of Perez Landscaping & Trees, to execute a major landscape & hardscape plan for our house in Prairie Village, KS. Initially, Rafael was wonderful to work with. He was responsive, fast and had a very kind demeanor. Toward the end of our project, he became totally unresponsive and ultimately failed to live up to his contractual obligations. Our contract with Rafael included a 2-year warranty that extended through the spring of Within months of the completion of our project, many of the patio steps that were made of stone pavers became loose, wobbly and dangerous and the stone patio stoop leading into our kitchen began sinking. Rafael promised to come fix it, which he never did. I sent him numerous messages about it and he finally stopped responding. In March of 2025, I got in touch with him about a few trees that were dead or appeared to be dying. He said he ordered a new tree to replace the dead one and that he would look at the trees that appeared to be sick. Unfortunately, Rafael never showed up, never replaced the dead tree, never responded to our messages. We finally got to the point where we asked Rafael to come over and meet with us to develop a plan for how he would live up to his contract. We told him that if he did not respond to us, we would have no choice but to leave a complaint with the BBB and online sites like Google reviews and also file a legal claim against his business so that it does not happen to others. Unfortunately, that is where we are now. -
