With the high winds last week in Kansas City, I had a large tree snap and cause damage to my yard and house, which has been pretty stressful. Edwin, Mia, and the team showed up and truly partnered with me. They were quick to respond. I called, they were out the very next day to provide a quote, and just a few days later they were back to start the work. They helped me navigate insurance, provided a very reasonable quote, and took the time to listen to what I needed. They did a full removal of the snapped maple tree, took down a 90-foot oak that was looking pretty crummy, and removed a second maple. What really stood out was how thoughtfully they were through the whole process. They brought in a wood chipper and mulched as much as possible, which not only saved me money but also helped with my gardening plans. They were also incredibly diligent about cleanup and restoring my yard. When they finished, it honestly looked better than it did before. That level of care helped me re-envision what my backyard can look like and what it can become, which means a lot during a stressful season. I do so much dreaming in my backyard! 4 months agoI received a flyer for Moore's and contacted them for a bid. They responded quickly and came to see the trees. Not only were they the cheapest bid I received, but they were able to schedule me for less than a week. They took down a 60 ft failing tree, ground out the stump, raised the canopy on a large sprawling maple, and removed a dead stem on a river birch. It was a LOT of work. They arrived on time and worked tirelessly until lunch break, then finished the job during the afternoon. They cleaned up everything including raking leaves. My yard is clearer than it was before they came. They take pride in their work and it shows. I highly recommend this family owned company! -
