Top Highlights From Customer Reviews
The painters initially performed well. However, they struggled with communication and attention to detail regarding paint specifications, using the wrong type of paint for the first coat in some areas. Some rooms were left messy during the project.

17 years agoThey were fine when they did the first coat of paint. They never paid attention to what we said. We wanted to change some colors in the finished area. We specified the particular paint that we wanted to use. Since it was for the bedroom we wanted to use the No VOC paint and they ended up using the Low VOC paint. I guess they didn?t know that there was a difference. The first coat was done with the wrong paint and then they switched over to the right type of paint. Some rooms were very messy as they wouldn?t wipe up right away unless you pointed out where you needed them to wipe up. They didn?t bother and they were quick. They were trying to paint around the fixtures as they didn?t want to break them. They said that if they took down the fixtures and broke them, then they would have to pay. They didn?t do a professional painting job. We always had to push them to do the job and they didn?t use primer. They hurried up, did a coat and cleaned up everything as if they were done with the work. We had to be very specific to them. The guest room and the guest bath attached to that room needed another coat. I didn?t specify and tell them to do the bath too. So they just gave the bedroom a second coat. They basically wanted to do a quick and dirty job. We didn?t want them to come back and do another coat. It was a messy job. Another thing that irked me was that they put the vent covers and the screws in the sink. Since it is a marble sink it will leave stains when you put the screws inside the sink. I would not use them again in the future. -

FAQ
Does Lepeserviceskc offer free estimates for carpet installation or painting, and how do you determine pricing?
We provide custom estimates based on the size of the area, the type of carpet or paint you choose, and how much preparation work is needed. For carpet, we look at square footage, whether old flooring needs to be removed, and any special details like stairs or complex room layouts. For painting, pricing is influenced by surface condition, number of coats, and any color changes you want. We walk you through these factors so you understand what is included in the total cost.
Are you licensed and insured for carpet installation and painting work?
Lepeserviceskc operates as a professional contractor in the Kansas City area and follows local requirements for performing carpet installation and painting services. We treat every project as if it were our own property, which means using proper tools, safe work practices, and appropriate coverage for the work we perform. Homeowners and commercial clients can expect us to handle measuring, cutting, removal of old flooring, and surface preparation with professional standards in mind. If you have specific questions about documentation, we can discuss those details with you before work begins.
What specific carpet installation tasks can Lepeserviceskc handle in my home or business?
We handle the full carpet installation process, including measuring your rooms, cutting carpet to fit, and installing it to meet exact specifications. Our team removes old flooring, prepares and smooths the surfaces, and installs carpet with proper stretching and trimming for a clean finish. We work in both residential and commercial spaces, so we can help with everything from a single room to larger office or retail areas. We also coordinate carpet work alongside painting when needed, so surfaces and flooring are finished in a logical order.
How far in advance should I schedule your services, and how long does a typical carpet installation take?
Lepeserviceskc schedules projects based on the size of the job and our current workload, so reaching out early helps you get the dates you prefer. Many standard carpet installations can be completed in about a day once the space is cleared and ready, while larger or more complex areas may take longer. Painting projects can add time, especially if multiple colors or coats are involved. During the estimate, we outline a realistic timeline so you know what to expect from start to finish.
What kind of cleanup and waste removal can I expect after Lepeserviceskc finishes the job?
We remove old carpet or flooring that we take up as part of the installation, along with scraps and packaging from the new materials. Our team cleans up work areas by picking up debris, sweeping or vacuuming as needed so you are not left with a construction mess. For painting, we gather drop cloths, tape, and paint supplies, and we leave the painted spaces neat and ready for you to move furniture back in after the paint cures. We aim to leave your home or business in a condition where you can focus on enjoying the new carpet and fresh paint rather than dealing with leftover waste.
Why is your professional carpet installation and painting approach safer and more effective than DIY?
We handle accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of carpet, which reduces the risk of seams, wrinkles, or gaps that can happen with DIY attempts. Our team is used to removing old flooring and preparing subfloors, which helps prevent issues like uneven surfaces or premature wear. For painting, we understand how different colors and products behave, how many coats are needed, and how to prepare surfaces so the finish lasts. By having professionals manage both carpet and paint, you reduce the chance of costly mistakes and avoid heavy lifting, dust exposure, and tool use that can be challenging for homeowners.
