FAQ
How does 3 Phase KC determine pricing for electrical work, and can I get a quote before you start?
We provide pricing based on the specific work you need, such as installing ceiling fans, adding recessed can lights, or troubleshooting wiring issues in your home. Before starting, we walk through the project with you, explain the options clearly, and give a detailed quote so you understand what is included. The final price depends on factors like how accessible the wiring is, whether new wiring or boxes are needed, and how many fixtures are being installed. We encourage you to share your goals and budget so we can recommend options that give you the best outcome for your situation.
Are you licensed and insured, and how can I feel confident letting you work in my home?
3 Phase KC performs residential electrical work using proper methods and equipment that follow current electrical standards and safety practices. We approach each job with clear communication, from discussing your options to updating you on the status of the work, so you always know what is happening. We treat your home with care and respect, protecting surfaces and working thoughtfully around your belongings. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable having us in your home and confident in the quality and safety of the completed electrical work.
Does 3 Phase KC handle ceiling fan installation, recessed lighting, and other small residential electrical projects?
We specialize in residential electrical work, including installing ceiling fans, recessed can lights, and other lighting fixtures in living rooms, bedrooms, and outdoor areas. We can add new fixtures where none exist, which may involve running new wiring, cutting precise openings, and installing electrical boxes safely. We also troubleshoot and repair wiring issues behind walls or ceilings when lights or outlets are not working correctly. Whether you need a single fan, several recessed lights, or multiple small electrical projects done at once, we can plan and complete the work in a coordinated visit.
What should I expect on the day of service in terms of your arrival time and how long the work will take?
3 Phase KC coordinates with you in advance on scheduling so you know the general arrival window and how the visit will be structured. On the day of service, we arrive when we say we will and check in with you about the specific electrical tasks to confirm priorities and any access needs. We work efficiently while still taking the time to explain what we are doing and how the project is progressing. The length of the job depends on the number of fixtures, the complexity of the wiring, and whether new circuits or openings are needed, and we keep you updated if we see anything that may affect the timeline.
How does 3 Phase KC handle cleanup and any wall or ceiling openings after electrical work is done?
When installing ceiling lights, recessed lighting, or repairing wiring, we keep the work area as neat as possible and clean up debris at the end of the job. We collect and remove packaging, wire scraps, and dust from drilling or cutting, and we avoid leaving tools or materials scattered around your home. Some electrical projects require cutting into walls or ceilings to access wiring or add new fixtures, and we discuss with you ahead of time what type of patching or finish work will be needed. Our goal is to leave your home tidy and to clearly explain any next steps if you plan to have additional finishing or painting done.
Why should I hire you for electrical repairs and installations instead of trying to do it myself?
We work with residential electrical systems every day, so we understand how circuits are laid out, how to size and connect wiring correctly, and how to install fixtures without overloading your system. DIY electrical work can create hidden issues, like loose connections or overloaded circuits, that may not show up right away but can lead to nuisance tripping or fire hazards later. We use proper tools and test equipment to verify that new ceiling fans, recessed lights, and other devices are wired correctly and safely before we leave. By having us handle the work, you reduce safety risks, avoid unnecessary damage to walls or ceilings, and gain peace of mind that your electrical system is functioning as it should.
