Wood Fence InstallationThey did great on the fence, but walked off with tool that didn't belong to them. It was a spud bar of mine that they said they would return just c I uldnt promis it would be the same one I was missing ass they keep several on hand. I can totally see how it could happen. Hear we are close to a year later and I gave up and bought another one. The only other thing I noticed was some bolts on the chain link fence were badly finger tight other than that it was done better and straighter than the original. Cleaned up how my property line looks to the people walking by. The gate they installed has a wide gate and barely is able to latch that dose give me some concern. I left a message about it and never was called back. Having over 1/2 acher it was a large gob that 2 was collected in 2 days so my expectations were met.

FAQ

How does Kodiak Fence Co. determine the cost of a new fence, and do you offer free estimates?

We base pricing on the type of fence material you choose, the total footage, the layout of your yard, and any gates or special design details you need. Removal of old fencing, if needed, is also factored into the quote. We provide custom estimates after looking at your property and discussing your goals for privacy, security, or appearance. You can request an estimate so you understand the project cost before any work begins.

Are you licensed and insured for fence installation and repair work?

Kodiak Fence Co. operates as a professional fencing contractor with the proper credentials to perform fence installation and repair work in the area. Our insurance coverage is in place to help protect both you and our crew while we are working on your property. We follow local requirements and standards for fencing projects, including for residential and commercial jobs. Homeowners can ask us to explain our licensing and insurance details before the project starts.

What types of fences does Kodiak Fence Co. install, and can you handle both wood and chain-link fencing?

We install and repair several common fence types, including wood privacy fences and black chain-link fences for residential and commercial properties. Our team designs fencing to match how you use your yard, whether you want more privacy, a safe space for kids and pets, or a simple boundary. We also handle removal of existing fencing before building a new one when that is part of the project. During your estimate, we can walk through material options and placement so the new fence fits your property.

How far in advance should I schedule my fence project, and what should I expect on installation day?

Kodiak Fence Co. schedules projects based on current workload and the size of your fence, so it is helpful to contact us as early as possible, especially in busy seasons. Once your job is on the schedule, we provide an expected start date and how many days the installation should take under normal conditions. Our crew arrives during an agreed-upon window and gets right to work removing old fencing if needed and setting posts and panels. We aim to keep the process organized and on time so you can plan around the work at your home or business.

When Kodiak Fence Co. finishes a fence installation, what happens to the old fence and job-site debris?

We handle the removal of old fencing as part of many projects, taking down existing sections before building the new fence. During installation, we keep materials and tools as organized as possible to minimize disruption to your yard. At the end of the job, we pick up leftover materials and construction debris so the area around the fence is tidy. If there are any larger items or special disposal needs, we discuss those with you in advance so expectations are clear.

Why should I hire a professional fencing contractor instead of installing a fence myself?

We install fences every day, so we understand how to set posts correctly, handle sloped or uneven ground, and build a straight, sturdy fence that will last. Proper tools and installation methods help avoid issues like leaning sections, sagging gates, or premature wood damage. We also pay attention to property layout and local standards so the fence lines up well with your yard and neighboring properties. For many homeowners, this professional approach saves time and reduces the risk of costly mistakes that can happen with a DIY fence.
