5 years agoPrescott Electric rebuilt an MCC cabinet changing from old contactors to soft starts with a new control unit and transducers. They pulled all new wire. They used the existing cabinetry. They demo'd old controls. Very clean professional job. They tested everything that was replaced and the MCC never looked better. Communication was much appreciated. They always were giving updates on parts ordered and when they were on site. -

FAQ
Does Prescott Electric Service, LLC offer free estimates for electrical work?
We provide detailed quotes based on the scope of your project, such as the size of industrial electrical upgrades or specific repairs needed. Factors like materials, labor hours, and any custom components like soft starts or transducers determine the final pricing. Contact us to discuss your needs and receive a custom estimate upfront.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical services?
Prescott Electric Service, LLC holds the proper licensing and insurance required for electrician work in Hattiesburg, MS. Our team follows all local codes to ensure safe installations and repairs. This coverage protects both your property and our technicians during jobs like MCC cabinet rebuilds.
Does Prescott Electric Service, LLC handle industrial electrical upgrades like rebuilding MCC cabinets?
We specialize in industrial electrical upgrades, including rebuilding MCC cabinets by replacing old contactors with soft starts, installing new control units and transducers, and pulling fresh wiring while reusing existing cabinetry. Our services also cover repairs and installations for smooth system operation. These tasks require professional expertise to maintain safety and efficiency in setups around the 3014 Mesa Dr area.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for scheduling electrical jobs?
We schedule projects based on your availability and the complexity of the work, such as new construction wiring or control panel installations. Arrival windows are confirmed in advance, typically within a 2-4 hour block to accommodate travel in Hattiesburg, MS. Larger jobs like MCC rebuilds may span several days, with daily updates provided.
Does Prescott Electric Service, LLC clean up after completing electrical installations?
We remove all debris from our work sites, including old wiring, demo materials, and packaging from new components. Your property is left clean and ready for use once we finish tasks like junction box wiring or panel setups. Proper cleanup ensures safety and minimizes disruption to your space.
Why is it safer to hire you for electrical panel and wiring work instead of doing it as a DIY project?
Professional electricians use specialized tools and follow strict safety protocols to prevent shocks, fires, or code violations that DIY attempts often cause. Our approach, like reusing existing setups while upgrading to soft starts and new wiring, ensures long-term reliability without compromising structure. Homeowners risk injury or voiding warranties without the training for tasks involving high-voltage control panels and transducers.
