I called a company to come out and to check it The gentleman told me what was wrong with it and said it was gonna cost well over $1000 but during the conversation he implied that my unit was old even though it was only 2018. And a suggestion came up to maybe replace the unit which would cost me anywhere between $12-$20,000. Based on what kind of system and warranties I. I felt a little uncomfortable so then I called John McGuffee And he immediately sent Chris out to check it and within 2 minutes he located the problem which was in my thermostat and he had it fixed 2 Minutes later. The first company that came out never mentioned anything about a thermostat He just stated it was something else that was gonna be very expensive. It cost me only $138.10 to repair my unit And today it's still working perfect. So I highly recommend McGuffee AC. They're honest and they do an excellent job. I know that because I've used them in the past. They're the only AC company on the coast that I would recommend. Honest and great prices in my opinion. -

They installed a new A/C unit for us a year ago, and they just AirScrubbers which are air purifiers with a special technology. They recommended it to us as an alternative to duct cleaning, as we were looking for help with my family's allergies. The AirScrubber helps with mold, smells, germs, and dust. They are quick to help out and they take care of their customers! Thank you! -

9 months agoHands down, the best HVAC service on the Coast. I have been using them for 5 years and I won't let anyone else touch my AC units. Regardless of who they send out, you can count on them being extremely knowledgeable and professional. They also have the fairest pricing I have ever seen. I cannot recommend this company enough. You are a fool if you call anyone else. The job gets done right every time. -

They're very good at diagnosing HVAC problems and they were quick to answer the phone quick to come out. They called to let me know they were coming showed up on time work very efficiently, very respectful of my property. I will be using them in the future. Girls are very trustworthy honest folks.
