10 months agoI called John Kivel Electric this morning to set up an appointment to solve a problem with a GFI outlet . Instead of an appointment he had me walk through a few checks that he thought could have been the cause. He solved the problem over the phone, and then wouldn't charge me. Amazing! He will definitely be my first choice electrician in the future. -

1 year agoI called John and explained that I had two outlets next to each other in my basement that suddenly stopped working, but none of my circuits were tripped, and I thought I had checked every GFCI outlet in the house. I was ready to have John come out to my house and charge me for whatever service was necessary. Instead, John asked me if I had checked some places that I did not think of for other GFCI outlets, such as on an outlet on the outside of the house or in the garage. Sure enough, I went in my backyard and on the back of the house an outside outlet was a GFCI and it was tripped. I reset it and my two outlets in the basement are now working again. Thank you again John, for being a good neighbor, and helping me solve my problem over the phone. This is how you build trust with a customer for a future business relationship. I will definitely call John Kivel Electric the next time I need an electrician.
