8 years agoOur contractor hired Triumph to do the electrical work start to finish for our house. We had numerous meetings with the owner Doug to discuss how the electrical would be run as it was a slightly more complicated project. When it came time to actually running the electrical, his team rarely showed up when they were supposed to and when they did, they only stayed a couple hours spending most of the time complaining. Our project was significantly delayed with the electrical being one of the main causes. It got to the point we were so frustrated we changed the locks on the door and fired them mid project. We had to hire a new electrician to come finish the work that was not completed by Triumph and in many cases, redo what they had already done as it was done so poorly. In addition, they set up our connection and bypassed any meters so we were unknowingly "stealing" power from the city. The city (rightfully) shut us down until they could investigate the situation and determine how large a fee to charge us. it was a crucial time in the project so we had to rent a generator to continue working. Much of the work that was completed was done very sloppy. we have exposed conduits and they were not pulled tight or run straight. Many of our light switches are not straight. The in floor heating was not installed per code so our drywall had to be torn out to fix this and then redone, adding more time and cost to the project again. To top if off, they left their ladder at our house when they stopped showing up and never made an effort to stop in and pick it up. We got an email from the owner threatening to put a lien on our house if we didn't give him the ladder. Very unprofessional and extremely terrible service. i would suggest avoiding this company for ANY project, large or small. -

18 years agoHe s very honest and very, very knowledgeable. If there is a fire, he is called in to help the police and fire department. He doesn t waste time either. You re not paying for him to do nothing. All the work he s done for me usually ends up being less than what he quotes me. I really trust him. I have tried other electricians before and he is the only one to respond to my calls within an hour. If it s really important he is out that day or the next, I don t get any kind of run around. If he says he s going to do something, he does it. I will continue to use him in the future.
