4 weeks agoThe staff is knowledgeable. I got a rug in Morocco that smelled like sheep. It didn't get better airing it out at home. They informed me it couldn't be washed or the colors would bleed into each other. So, they suggested a process to dry out the rug. They got the smell out! They have also washed 3 other rugs for me and cut rug pads to fit them. -

2 months agoWe have always had a great experience with American Rug Laundry. We just had several rugs cleaned. They did a great job with a rather dirty and somewhat fragile rug, and also told us what kind of rug it was, where it was from, and that it would have been woven on a portable loom. -

2 months agoI brought American Rug Laundry the carpet I purchased in Morocco because two friends recommended it highly. Even though I purchased it from a large and reputable dealer in Fez, I had it treated for moths as well as cleaned. ARL treated it with care and returned it in perfect condition. Their vinegar bath completely prevented the dye problems common to an antique carpet.
