11 months agoWhat a quality company to work with!!! I needed some gravel and black-top work done. The project estimator came right out, got us a price, and explained what they were going to do! On another occasion, I needed some crushed rock. They showed up right when then said, did a quality job and the workers were VERY helpful and did a really nice job!! It's nice to have a reliable, professional company that will do residential, and smaller commercial projects. -

FAQ
Does Elcor Construction offer free estimates for snow removal?
We provide free on-site estimates for snow removal projects. Our project estimator visits your property to assess the scope, including lot size and snow accumulation, then delivers a clear price and explanation of the work. This ensures you understand the full cost before committing.
Are you licensed and insured for commercial snow removal?
Elcor Construction holds all necessary licensing and insurance for commercial snow removal in Rochester, MN, with over 35 years of experience in the industry. Our team follows local regulations and safety standards to protect properties and workers during operations. Homeowners can verify our credentials through city records and our established local presence.
Does Elcor Construction handle large parking lot snow removal like for churches?
We manage snow removal for large commercial properties, including church parking lots and other sizable areas, using heavy equipment like snowplows, loaders, and graders. Our services cover around-the-clock clearing during heavy Rochester snowfalls to keep surfaces safe and accessible. We also address related tasks such as lot resurfacing when needed.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for snow removal services?
We respond promptly to storms with 24/7 availability, aiming to clear properties as soon as conditions allow safe equipment operation. Arrival windows depend on snowfall intensity but typically occur within hours of your call during active events. For ongoing contracts, we schedule regular plowing intervals based on your property's needs and weather forecasts.
How does Elcor Construction handle snow pile cleanup and debris after removal?
We push snow into designated piles away from entrances, doors, and traffic areas to minimize hazards. Excess debris like ice chunks or salt residue is removed or managed per local guidelines. Properties are left clear and safe, with options for hauling away large piles if space is limited.
Why is professional snow removal safer than DIY for commercial properties?
Our heavy machinery like snowplows and loaders handles deep snow volumes efficiently without risking equipment damage or personal injury common in DIY attempts. We apply proper salting techniques and follow safety protocols to prevent slips and structural issues from ice buildup. This approach ensures faster clearing and reduces liability for property owners during harsh winters.
