1 year agoI'll start this review by putting the important points first: I highly recommend Dream Floors due to their exceptional work, fantastic customer service, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems. They are the perfect balance of affordable pricing and quality. If you're looking for a local flooring installation company you can trust to do excellent work, Dream Floors is who you want to work with, hands down. I had water damage to my condo floor due to an HVAC unit drip pan clog. It was a nightmare navigating everything from insurance claims to remediation to clean up. My previous flooring was barely a year old when this happened and had to be ripped up. There was enough damage that the subfloor also needed to be replaced. I did my due diligence in getting quotes from a few flooring companies, but I was not shopping for flooring for fun. This was stressful and a lot of money I wasn't planning on spending. The previous flooring we installed last year was discontinued, and every person I talked to said I'd need to replace not just the damaged areas, but the entire floor throughout our condo because they wouldn't be able to match the discontinued pattern. The quotes for this project were way higher than I expected or could afford. But then Davron with Dream Floors came by and help solve my problem. Davron came to my home to assess the situation. He explained several options, made suggestions on how to approach the problem, explained what would need to be done to the subfloor, and then said he was confident he could closely match the previous flooring, which meant I wouldn't have to replace my entire condo's floor. His quote was much less than any other company because he focused on solving my actual problem: I had unexpected damage and costs that needed to be addressed ASAP. I did not need to replace my entire unit's floors, but that was the only solution offered by any other company. I was able to stop by the Dream Floors showroom in Plymouth, MN and see, not just one, but several flooring options that would closely match my floors. I was able to take home some samples to compare, made a choice, and then got a reasonable quote. Suddenly, this nightmare scenario I'd been living in was turned into a manageable project in terms of both time and cost. After I approved the quote and made the first payment, it took about a week for the supplies to be delivered. Once those were in, it took a short 2 days for the entire project to be done. The new flooring is so close to the previous flooring that I can barely tell the difference. The guys who did the work were exceptionally professional and friendly and did such a good job. I felt I was kept informed of the situation the entire time and the floors were gorgeous when they were done. So if you are looking for a flooring company to work with, look no further. Dream Floors is who you want to use. They are nice, efficient, professional, and of the highest quality without charging exceptionally high prices. They solve problems. We had a small issue that came up and I called and he came out to see it within 30 minutes and someone was there with in a couple of hours to fix and got it done!!! It's perfect! I have highly recommend this company to family and friends and I will keep on telling people to get their flooring done through this company!!! -
