3 months agogreat to work with! Personable and understanding, meeting you where you are at financially. Guided us through the insurance process and worked hand in hand as we navigated various challenges in the rebuild process. Would definitely use again! -

3 months agoUngerman made a stressful situation effortless. They came the same day as our water damage occurred and began extensive mitigation work. They negotiated with our homeowners insurance on our behalf. And then the construction team made our bathroom even better than before. Beautiful work. -

3 months agoReally shotty work. Left electrical fire hazards, left behind tons of materials and trash, they don't clean up after themselves and left my place a total mess. Boot stains all over the floors and rugs, leaves dragged through my apartment, half empty energy drink cans left behind. And on top of all that the amount of time it took them was insane, multiple weeks for maybe 200 square feet. I'm in construction and passed 3 inspections for large commercial projects in the time it took for them to finish a little corner of an apartment. Really bad way to run a construction company. -

FAQ
How does Ungerman, Inc. determine pricing for water damage restoration?
We assess the extent of water damage, including affected areas like carpets, drywall, and flooring, to provide a detailed estimate. Factors such as the source of water, materials involved, and necessary services like demolition or drying influence the final cost. We work directly with your insurance to manage claims and ensure transparent pricing throughout the process.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Does Ungerman, Inc. handle full water damage restoration including demolition, drywall, and flooring?
We manage the complete process from emergency mitigation to repair, including carpet removal, demolition of damaged walls, drywall installation, and flooring replacement. Our specialists use industrial fans, dehumidifiers, and inspection tools to dry structures and expose hidden moisture. This comprehensive scope covers plumbing, roofing, and remodeling needs tied to water damage.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for water damage emergencies?
We respond 24/7/365, arriving quickly after your call, even late at night, to stop water spread and begin mitigation. Projects like full kitchen and room restorations can take several weeks depending on damage scope, with our team overseeing each phase. Expect clear communication on scheduling and progress updates to set realistic expectations.
How does Ungerman, Inc. handle cleanup and debris removal after water damage work?
We remove water-damaged materials such as walls, flooring, and insulation during demolition, ensuring waste is properly disposed of. Our process includes contents restoration and storage to protect your belongings while we restore the property. The site is left clean and safe, ready for final repairs and your return.
Why is professional water damage restoration safer than DIY methods?
Professionals use certified equipment and techniques to detect and dry hidden moisture in walls and cavities, preventing mold growth that DIY efforts often miss. With over 40 years of experience, we assess sources accurately and coordinate repairs across trades like plumbing and roofing without delays. Attempting DIY risks further structural damage, health hazards from contaminants, and voided insurance claims due to improper handling.
